Bayh is not an entertainer. He's a politician that actually does his job and gets things done. He is a man of action not of empty words. He would be a great VP if people quit looking for the best sound byte and actually looked for proof of success on promises made.

He didn't turn it down. He was dying for it, like he always is. All he really had to offer for Obama was Indiana's 11 electoral votes, while Joe Biden has 35 years of experience. and yes if Hillary had won the nomination he would've wanted to be her VP too. He would wanna be anyone's VP so people can later call him Vice-President Bayh. He was dying to be Gore's VP in 2000 and Kerry's VP in 2004.

Honestly, I'm glad Barack Obama did not choose him for his VP. The audience is severely lacking enthusiasm for his speech.
He speaks well but this was a bit on the rushed side.
