personally...i enjoy hearing pops and a little crackling occasionally...i have a few of those 45's you describe and it doesn't stop me from playing them...one Christmas I was given a cd player and (1) cd and I said then, that would probably be the only cd I would ever own because of my love for vinyl...but as of last count, I believe I may have about 700 cd's....I was able to find things on cd i couldn't possibly expect to find on vinyl and that's how my cd list grew
@jekiwe It's a worn 45, so considering that, it's not bad. Obviously, being vinyl, it can't compare to CD quality. I've heard much, much worse quality on YouTube though. However, if you are comparing to CD quality, I agree it pales in comparison.
To further the subject of really short song titles, "the Sensational Alex Harvey Band" had a very lengthy "There's No Lights on the Christmas Tree Mother, We're Burning Big Louis Tonight" on one side of their disc, and a very short "Harp" on the other.

If "no" means "yes", what does a kick in the jimmies mean?

Well.. that settles THAT!!!... You won't get a shorter title than just the letter " I " ... Thanks for the correction...

You're welcome, the dj was close!

I remember when this was played on the radio in 1960.. the dj said it was the shortest title of any song in history;, never forgot that comment

It's pretty short, but Don Cornell had a hit with a song called "I" in 1952. I think that was the shortest title. The dj didn't know about that one!
