Getting a job in Dutch is extremely easy. Living there is the hard part. Everything is soooooo expensive. Apartment $1,600 month, Shampoo $15, and crab isn't any cheaper there than in Mississippi. There are only 2 bars, Cape cheerful ( at the hotel ) and the sports bar. The Alaskan ship supply is what they call wal-mart and everything there is outrageous. Getting s job is the easy part, leaving Dutch with any money saved is the hard part.

Keep trying and you will succeed.
If you can get a job @ ANY of their other plants take it, a later transfer to Dutch will be no problem once you have successfully finished a season.
But let me warn you here...working in Dutch is TOUGH. Most never come back. For a reason.

Yeah...there is a shooting range near by that wreck. Maybe that's where they went (I didn't watch DC)
