basic constuction is simple. i got a solenoid from a door bell and wire and 9volt batteries. i have a wire going to the switch, then from the switch to one coil wire. then the second coil wire was wrapped around the connecting rod. i had another wire going to where the shaft spins and hits that one wire to pull in the solenoid. the only trouble i had was getting the timing good
