  • the bigots remain in Washington and local offices of Nonrepresentation of the People, remain in the poli-corporate elitistism warmongering of liars and profiteers, remain as destructors of livelihoods, peace, and economy of families. It is time. 2012 or never, Be here Now, Solidarity.

  • April 1967: I was in high school ; it was a time of tension for all of us The draft was in place and all of the *boys* worried whether their number would come up and they would ship out for that war torn country. We kids were all dissidents, doves, flower children: our parents thought that if the president wanted war, then it must be right. King was liked because he delivered his speeches in a dispassionate way: contrast that to Malcolm X who scared white America with his bitter diatribes.

  • @8journey8 Yes, you must love the way he speaks. It's just pure truth! I really admire his courage, wisdom, foresight, and dedication to nonviolence. If I could meet any historical figure, it would definitely be Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr!
