Regarding the change - Bella is the biggest Mary Sue I've ever had the displeasure to read about. Everything goes her way without consequence, it's so damn annoying. I have no clue how people find Bella Sue relatable.
Oh Heather, please do a video about the screwed up "science" used to explain some of the more unbelievable bullshit, because that is just idiocy on a totally new level.

lol I AM SUPER MARRY SUE i totally agree with you you put it a little better in words then i do please get it coming.you are speaking the truth insteadof being a wuss like most people .the only reason i wont do this is because i dont have a camra corder
I agree with you 100 percent.. this book BD sucked so bad i cant think of anything worse.. and ppl that are being rude 2 u for stating ur oppion are freaking stupid..and need to grow up..for real the book sucked.. and it made me not like the series no more.. grow up ppl.. SM cant write for crap!!
Thanks for the love. It baffles me that so many people want me to shut up- like they are afraid of the truth. If you don't agree with me, move on. Being abusive has no point... except to make them look stupid.
Okay seriously... this is a fictious novel. It's not real...so what if the morphine didn't do to Bella what it would do to a normal human being in real life? IT'S A NOVEL... FAKE!!! NOT REAL!!!! I bet you spent hours upon hours contradicting J.K. Rowling on the Harry Potter books. If you're going to contradict something... why not a non-fiction book where facts are actually real and important..not a teen novel whose author wrote the book for enjoyment purposes.. not fact checkers like you!
Actually- I LOVED Potter and was absolutely amazed at the amount of depth and detail that Rowling put into it. So, thanks for that.
I simply don't understand why people have such a problem with me having an opinion. Maybe it's too close to the truth? You seem to forget that I was, at one point, a fan, but book 4 was SO fricking terrible and pathetic, and I have every right to voice my opinion about that.
The book was so terribly written, it went outside of the bounds of her own "rules" and it was an absolute waste of paper and a disgrace to the literary world. Meyer is now a HUGE joke among people in the industry. I am amazed at how many people think it's okay to just ignore basic facts, even when writing fiction. You can't just make shit up when it directly contradicts real world truth. Should Bella just have been able to fly as a human, then? Who cares if it's not logical, it's just fiction!

If you want to have an opinion.. that is perfectly fine but you have a lot of nerve to call Meyer a JOKE. Okay so she's not the best author out there but I certainly would never call her a joke. Did you ever think that sometimes people like to read things as an escape. Look at all the movies out there that are absolutely and never will be factual. Books can be the same way. Trust me, I don't think Stephanie Meyer will take your comments to heart since she has plenty of fans who enjoy her.
I could care less what SM thinks of me. She absolutely *is* a joke & a crap author. BD was the book where she had the least editing help- and it shows. It's a total shit book. And her behavior since BD and the leak of MS? Infantile. She got lucky with Twilight, her publishers carried her through the middle 2 books, and they let her fall on her ass w/ BD. Ever notice that all of the professional reviews agree with me? She was ripped to shreads after the release of BD, & rightly so.
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
Whatever you want to think is your opinion but I disagree with you completely and if you would look around you... most of her fans believe she is a very good author. It's obvious you have nothing else better to do than sit around make home made videos talking about how much you hate Twilight..
If you look at the comments my vids get- I'm far from alone in what I think. And a few months ago I spent a few hours making a couple of vids. It obviously consumes my entire life.
Even some of her die hard fans admit that she's a good story teller, but a mediocre (which is generous) author. There's a huge difference b/n story teller and author.
You obviously disagree with me. It may be time for you to move on. What's the point of wasting your time here if you hate my opinions so much?
I think that you should just keep your stupid comments to yourself. This story is a love story. Simply that!! Your just lookin' for things to argue about it. If you dont like it then just leave it alone. Some of the "contradictions" that you have just go to show you that you did not pay attention when you were reading!! Stop whining!
I don't care what genre you want to call it- if a book sucks, I have every right to think (and say) so. If it bothers you so damn much, stay away from my vids. :)
I will... I just happened to come across your hateful videos while I was looking for something worthwhile! Just seems to me that if you Didnt Like the book you could just leave it be. Stephanie Meyers has millions of fans and her books (including more than just twilight) are amazing. So just go back to hating...
I love how having thoughts makes me a hater. You're big such a fan- you don't know her name (it's Stephenie Meyer) or that she has 1 book (not "books") outside of Twilight.
Instead of calling me a hater, why not try to prove me wrong? That's what separates me from the rest of the "haters," I have real thoughts and arguments.
As a former fan who paid for the books, I have every right in the world to voice my opinions on her turd of a novel. I paid her for a service, and she failed miserably.
LOL... she sure does... it would have been more romantic if she didn't push edward so much on the sex thing.. she never listens to him! Bella i think she was sord of obsessed with sex a little i mean seriously dont you think crying over it because of a stupid dream and forcing edward all the time explains that?
I realize that she couldn't see the baby b/c everything went fuzzy for her once Bella got pregnant- but she should have at least seen her disappear, like she did every time she was with Jacob.
And Alice sees lots of stuff that are the *results* of decisions. Jasper attacking her was a DECISION on his part. She can tell whether or not it's safe for Jasper or Edward to be around people when safety is an issue.
I think Alice's visions and the rules surrounding them are just what is convenient.
Alice didn't see Bella getting a paper cut because Bella didn't DECIDE to get a paper cut. if you payed attention to the books it explains that Alice sees things that people plan out. she cant see renesmee because she can only see humans and vampires and renesmee is neither. well, shes a mixture i guess.
but yeah not trying to be rude. just trying to explain that part.
Alright I'm a huge fan of the whole series, but I cannot help but agree with you on many points you have made such as the blood drinking, the not crying out during the change, and the lack of struggle with thirst. I think that I find the books appealing for a reason apart from the teen craze which lets me enjoy them still. I personally had serious beef with the 6th Potter book, so I know how hard it can be to fight against the mob.
Thanks. I should have commented long ago, but... I'm a loser. Anyway. Thanks for admitting that even fans can see that there are flaws. That's brave of you. :) It also gives me a lot of respect for you. I appreciate it.
I have a question about Bella's sheild. Jasper and Alice can use their abilities on Bella because it does not affect her mind, only her body. Edward, Jane and Aro cannot use there powers because they cannot get into Bella's mind. So how is it that in Breaking Dawn, when Kate tries to zap her with her electric current, it does not affect her? It is a physical power like Jasper's. Her sheild should not have worked on the current. Or am I crazy?
I haven't read breaking dawn yet but my guess is that SM is trying to make it to where now that Bella is a vampire she can protest herself and others from things i.e. vamp powers if she choses to.
I have never seen anyone fail to know the rules of a universe they created the way SM does. She comes across as someone who thinks that the writer is God - and a writer is a god in the universe they created... but even the writer has to follow the rules. If this was in fanfic it may have the tag "AU" tacked onto some of what Breaking Dawn did. As for the characters, if this was fanfiction the author would get called out on for making the characters OOC. The author still has to follow the rules.
Hey H. Faust - You mentioned the werewolf-shapeshifter thing and SM's reason for the change. I sort of assumed it was part of her efforts in creating the non-battle with the Volturi - if they were true werewolves, the Volturi would have had a reason to actually DO something. By suddenly making them shapeshifters, SM takes away a reason for the Volturi to attack (and she gets out of writing actual conflict)
Not sure if my theory makes sense...but what does in Twilight land??!
See, it still doesn't make sense. The mutual hate between the vamps and wereshifters through bks 1-3 doesn't disappear in book 4. It's not like they go, "Oh, you're not werewolves, we love you now."
So, wouldn't whatever pissed them off still piss off the volturi? And wouldn't they still smell bad to the volturi? It just doesn't make any sense no matter how you look at it. I'd like to hear her try to explain it, though.
Oh yeah - I totally agree, it still makes no sense. That's just the reason I thought SM was using. Edward says "Oh, they are shapeshifters and want to keep all this secret too so you have no reason to kill them," and Aro agrees. But, clearly, they are still mortal enemies, treaty or not.
Oh, didn't finish my thought there. She sets herself up for a chance to write an interesting situation and then just backs up, like, "Oh, no, not going to go there. God forbid my precious Bella have to actually be resourceful or -- gasp -- *suffer.*"
Speaking of Bella being the magically controlled newborn, how is it that, as a newborn crazy thirsty vampire she could resist Blood when the entire seasoned Cullen coven fled from the enticing aroma of her itty bitty papercut? Meyer has a disturbing trend of setting herself up for what could be an interesting conflict, like Bella having to deal with newbornness or raise a child or her parents' reaction to her marriage and disappearance; and those are examples from BD alone.
I agree with you so much. The way you state everything makes you sound so articulate, and you don't have to swear or anything to make your point. It's truly admirable.
Another contradiction: Bella and Edward went to a South American Island close to Brasil for their honeymoon, is Edward's sparkeling skin mentioned anywhere? I know it's not that big of a deal but I think also the small details show match. In New Moon Alice wore long gloves, a hat, sunglasses to cover her skin, was any of that mentioned for Edward? I don't recall?
Great, entertaining video again. Another contradiction: What happens to the werewolves/shapshifter/you know, sam's gang in the third half? All these vampires come and not all of them are vegetarians and start hunting humans. Even if they went off miles away to do that, haven't the werewolves swoen to protect human life. Actually the whole Cullen/werewolvf treaty from the two books before is suddenly not that important anymore as well.
Regarding the change - Bella is the biggest Mary Sue I've ever had the displeasure to read about. Everything goes her way without consequence, it's so damn annoying. I have no clue how people find Bella Sue relatable.
