My guess, after reading an article at Yahoo about solar spots and the brochure "CHHSS19Jan2011.pdf", is: GIC currents are probably induced in the coil, and that's why it's just run. While GIC could be a real hazard (10:00 killing a human, but could also be an annoyance muting the VHS band, HAM radio and such), it could as well, in theory at least, work as a power generator, though not effective enough to be used commercially. Just a guess.

thanks for this vid. I built it tonight using to circle bulbs and it works. I cannot connect the cap to the base......dies. I can add caps (one wire) a number of places and it helps brightness. The caps seem to be antennas more than a capcitive affect.

the reason for the high voltage throughout the circuit is the output of the coil i almost connected to the base (the cfl's and capacitor help a bit but still much more than enough voltage to kill the transistors) the output then should go to the negative side of the coil oh, and the capacitor doesn't block power even if it's polarized

the reason when u touch them they get better is because u shout rotate the light in space to find the best result or maximum. then keep the light in that orientation in space.

Earth does not supply a signal. Likely what starts your circuit is stray noise radiated from your 50 Hertz (England), (60 Hertz, USA) home power lines picked up by the ground lead or your body. You can prove the existence of this radiation by touching the signal input of an audio amplifier and you will hear that radiation at its 50 Hertz frequency. That method is used to provide a quick check of an amplifier instead of using a signal generator.

Your capacitor modification ruins the magic of the whole thing, the radiant run feature. Aromaz has florescent lighting in his lab, by the way. I'm going to try another 2n2222 and florescent light in the room to see if that will "radiate" the 2n2222. Thanks for posting this anyways, as you helped me to understand the magic...

Will also crank and run on 3 volt flashlight batteries, but dim. The 2n2222 must be really leaky and unshielded, sensitive to area static. but one guy on energetic is thinking that maybe the ping-pong may be coming from within the circuit. Thanks for this video, helped me to finally see mine run (without earth, just jumped the C+E to kick it off).

You dont need to use GND.Use one pieces of wire conected to base of 2N3055 and you will see same result.

That is way to use feedback from the near are, and make oscilator.

There is more factor then ones. This post is not enough long to explain my solution. Somethime people make mistake with mechanical/electrical/electrom­agnetic/sound oscilation and applyed media. That is first and bigest misundersanding.

I tried to replicate your circuit using rectified current from wall;output 18 v at 3 amps transformer and 24 watts cfl bulb;did not worked for me;the light was very poor with flickering ;grounding was helpful a little;cfl lights a little brighter but not usable light .If I remove grounding the light become very poor again .

Also I found,high voltage going through grounding wire ;I think this is not normal...

Can somebody tell me what I made wrong?

shouldnt you use a diode or choke to stop be inductive kickback from the primary on ignition coil i would be worried about the transistors destructing

yes u probably should, I have a large diode in my new setup that connects to the +ve side of the ignition coil and a diode on the -ve side to run into a secondary battery..

However if the system is in resonance then it doesn't matter if u have a diode or not, u can feel the HV kickback all over the circuit.

i can draw sparks from all different parts of the circuit, strange...

the 2n3055s are pretty solid tho, the 2nd one heats up a bit so i use a heatsink to protect it. how would a choke help?

a choke would minimize the rf loss and at high frequencys ensure that it goes in one direction

chokes off alternating current which likes to destroy integrated circuits in the transistor

but it isnt allways true ive experimented with flat spiral tesla coils and have had the circuit radiate throughout the whole circuit even in objects 3 feet away total disregard for any component after the secondary mabe its the same effect as in your circuit i dont know

@dodoshlodo i made every timethis circiut exactly as shown in the diagrham but it dident work properly and i had trouble getting the tranny to oscilate but when i did one of them the bottom one got so hot it caused a base emitter short and so i have to keep replaceing the transistor.every time , is your drawing up to date

Great video... but you can try instead that capacitor you can try to use the microwave cap around 3000v. 1uf. because we want get cold electricity from the environment or better an super with an harder dielectric

7:20 - 7:40 your hand is modifying the capacitive field of the electrostatic field in the circuit,your hand allows the energy to be focused more in the bulb, its all in teslas "inventions researches and writings of nikola tesla" book. he tells alot of how all of these effects are generated and modified,putting a metal object should modify the field and also a large surface area plate. good work! these effects are even more noticeable when you do the tesla one wire transmission model.

What happens if you use different transistors? Transistors also act as a high speed/frequency switching? Although 2n3055 transistors also act as a resistor so maybe try using different transistors with resistors, you should check the resistance between the 2n3055 transistors to get the right resistance. Different frequencies = different brightnesses with the cfl`s.

well as far as i know the transistors aren't oscillating by themselves. i can tickle the base of th transistors in several ways:

1. by touching the base

2. connecting base to earth

3. connect base to antenna

if i use an antenna it appears that once its started it can oscilate by itself, my theory is that the antenna connceted to the base is being tickled by the radiant energy in the room that is pouring out of the High Viltage line.

ive tried using a 2n2222 that goes in series with the 2n3055s

thanx for the link, as i continue to experiment im finding that the human body is acting more like an antenna, picking up frequencies around me.. but im not sure, it could have something to do with natural freqencies...

Just stay away from the coil secondary. If you get a shock from the battery terminal. thats the kick back try one wire charging

cheers Eddie, dont touch anything coming off the HV lead from the ignition coil, in the video its the yellow wires.

dont touch the terminals of the CFLs, if u get a finger between the yellow lead and the base, or the ground, u'll get a good shock!

My Transistors are heating up though.

Even when I switch back to 12 volts.

I need to use a heat sink.

yeh use a heatsink, i am. its always the 2nd trans. that gets hot. heatsink should keep it safe.

I am now using a PWM circuit for oscillations and it seems to be getting the resonance much easier, when this happens HV goes everywhere. u can draw a spark all over the place, even on the PWM circuit.

to get rid of this i am using a rheostat or high wattage POT. mine is 15Watt & 5 Ohm. but the heat will then go to the POT and away fom trans.

then u need to use heatsink on the POT

Hey Dodo,

I have a 25w 10 ohm rheostat in line from the power source,no heat there. I can adjust the amp draw from 200 to 600 miliamps @ 12 or 24 volts.

When I first hooked up the circuit up, @12 vdc I did'nt notice any heat until after I tried 24vdc.

Anyway I think the transistors are designed to get hot.

I went out today and bought 4 more 2n3055s and a 2n2222.

Time to play!

I'll post a vid after I clean up the circuit.

thanks, i find it interesting that there is an interaction when we touch the lights.. clearly this radiant energy is different to normal electron flow arond a circuit. we can get this to work without closing the circuit.

I am noticing slight wireless energy transfer when i place a small neon near the HV line. u have also noticed this with your Tesla adaptations with ignition coils.

geez, Tesla would be proud seeing people like us experimenting with High Frequency and high voltage!

"Human oscillator" mean that you put resistor on it I think. Humans got about 3M (mega) Ohms resistance...

humans emit an AC current at a certain frequency (similar to the Earth frequency). So by touching the base of the transistor it can amplify the human oscillation to turn the coil on and off very quickly.

likewise the Earth oascillates and we can use an Earth wire to oscillate the circuit

living organisms have measurable frequencies on various levels from the entire body down to the cellular level.

Your body picks up a 50 Hz 'hum' from the mains AC power that is wired throughout your house. Your body is acting as an antenna, it doesn't really emit anything. Any measurable frequency emissions associated with the human metabolism would likely be many orders of magnitude below any ability to influence your circuit. There are two ways to see the antenna effect. Touch the analog input of an old-fashioned stereo amplifier with your fingertip and you hear the 50 Hz hum on the speakers. Touch a scope probe and turn up the vertical gain and you will see the 50 Hz waveform on the scope display.

Just about any large object will display this effect, like a filing cabinet.
