  • Looks like it's on X :s

  • older bubbles

  • 1:30 Ha ha!! The other kitty jumps up, and says, "I want in on the fun, too!" I love cats, especially female cats. I love affectionate cats, but this is as affectionate of a kitten I've seen! Does she ever knead you?

  • Beautiful cat, just beautiful

  • i have a norweigan forest cat who is SO LOVING, he cuddles into me and because i have to use walking sticks he holds on to my shoulders without digging his claws on so i can carry him, he also now walks to heel so he don't get under myfeet and i don't fall.

Plus he loves to be held like a babe and he then puts his paw on my chin and go to sleep BLESS HIM

  • This sounds like bestiality.

  • creepiest thing ive ever seen/heard in my life.

  • its funny to me how people get so pissed on youtube over other people talking in a pet voice to their animals

  • awww haha i have 4 kittens that keep me up ALL night doing this

  • Oh how adorable! One sweet cat

  • WTF is a bump

  • @camtheTrex A head bump, like the cat is not doing exactly what she keeps telling it to do. A better video if lady behind camera just kept quiet.

  • bbrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.... this video feels kinda wrong...

  • @cathode1990 ha ha yeah that state of calm is called comatose..

  • I already kno this cat its the ex cat to my mother lol ;)

  • give a bump, give daddy a bump, what a good bump.. AAAAAAHHH, shut the f up biatch,, now i cant get your irritating voice out of my head, give a bump.. give a bump..

  • Give your daddy a bump? Pimp telling his whore to give him some meth?

  • @kiribula This is from Dr Judith Blackshaw Phd & Bsc, a leading expert in animal behaviour: "People think that cats show affection when they rub against their owners, but Judith says they are really being territorial. They reinforce their ownership of objects, people and doorways by head and cheek rubbing. Cats have scent glands along the tail, each side of the forehead and also on the lips and chin." For some reason I cant post the link in here, so search for her name.

  • he cats cute

  • do abbysinian cats shed like regular cats?

  • I fuckin hate when people talk to animals like they are babies. The woman in this video sounds annoying and creepy.

  • Cat is a doll baby, but doesn't need lady behind camera as cheerleader.

  • Someone needs to give this lady a bump on the head to shut the hell up.

  • Lady, shut up. You should ridiculous in this video.

  • @overhauled101

    Agreed, she should ridiculous!

  • For ultimate enjoyment, please mute and watch!

  • sounds like cat porn if you close your eyes

  • @vodoo2567 i read comments be4 video actually started and when i heard this i screamed

  • @elneglito Yeah, that's right! My rabbit thinks I'm his mom, when he was a baby he always nuzzled into me when other people where around, and licks my hair. But then he stops because my hair is so long! XD

  • @jjj123comody haha! That's very interesting, I haven't heard something like that about a rabbit before. It's really nice to see how many different ways do animals have to show their feelings. If people payed a bit more of attention to these signs that they give to us, they would notice that is really easy to understand them.

Sorry for my bad english, I do my best haha

    thanks for your reply ;D

  • cute little guy!!

but shut the hell up lady!- so annoying!!

  • My cat does abby loving. Well the bump part! He's so adorable!

  • although it may be interpreted as affection, it's actually the cat saying "I own you"

  • you know it's love and trust when a cat will go forehead to forehead with you. Sure they can dance around the sides and it can be all about terriroty but a forehead butt from a cat on your forehead and you've ARRIVED !!!

  • The classic "head butt" of the Aby!! I've never seen an Aby that doesn't like a good snogging!

  • Some people have said "It seems like affection to us" and they do the same thing with boxes. Does that mean they love us the same as boxes? The answer is YES in a sense. The cat is marking what he is claiming as his. He likes the box and the human so they are his and thus marked. Isn't it also odd we question affection yet if the cat were growling and hissing we would have no question the cat was upset and felt threatend. Is that not an emotion?????

  • My abby goes ballistic too. There is nothing like abby loving! You see t in their eyes, they give you the romantic look before starting the head buts!

But oh goodness, they do it without all this baby talk....hit the mute button pleeease.

  • @MissAsali well I don't know my oriental cat (burmese) gets encouraged by words. A LOT :D

  • @dinavienna Mine too! They love a chat - it's just this talk is really annoying. My little girl really loves a chat but thank goodness my spouse doesn't stand around saying give him a bump in a super annoying way. They really do respond to a soothing voice though. Now back to my abby's for a pat! I can hear her tearing down the hallway! They are such a blessing!

  • Loved the video. I was inspired to servh a cat loving vid when keykohh ( sounds how you read it) was face butting and falling asleep on me. Also loved Reading the comments and learning new words. I would like to say to the other comments that...

I think you are both right and you both need to open your minds. Not sayin you are close minded but far from it, always seemed to me that open your mind was always good advice. And yes this has now been added (fav'd)

    Good night.

  • It's a common myth that cats are not affectionate. I foster cats and so many of them are just pure love, can't stay away from people. Wants to hug you, kiss you, follow you around, stay on your lap, sleep on you tummy...

  • cats really love old people...i remember i had a kitten that always used to jump on grandma and kissed her. always.

  • if your cat is not affectionate it probably means your a bad person.

  • Cats feel as much as dogs do, but they express it like that. Germsquirm1218 below is right about the way cats interact

    with people they like.

  • That has clinched it for me... I'm getting an Aby. Thanks... more more more!

  • I think thats definately a female cat...

  • so cute! what kind of kitty is she?

  • Cat on fire !! : )

  • Abys are the best! We have two of them

  • "give a bump"

    "do the bump"

    "give daddy a bumb"

AND SHES GOT THE MOST ANNOYING VOICE EVER AND SHE WONT SHUT UP

  • Very interesting

  • It seems like affection to us, but he's actually scent-marking in the same way dogs do with urine.

  • You certainly are anthropomorphizing. I do it too, but at the same time I know in the back of my head that "feline feelings" don't translate that way. When people nuzzle cats, it means something different. Cats rub their heads on people and objects because they have scent glands there to mark their territory.

  • Why are the two mutually exclusive? You could just as easily deconstruct human emotions as being some sort of evolutionary trick as well.

  • Emotions can be based on biological drives, but that doesn't mean this biologically driven action indicates emotion. You only see it that way because you're mistranslating a cat's motivation through the lens of human experience. Is it also affection when they rub their heads on cardboard boxes?

  • @stansfield - how do you know YOU are not the one mistranslating his motivation through the lens of human experience?

A cat can't write a love poem, use "hands" to caress, nor indulgently let his favorite human have his credit card for an afternoon of splurge-shopping.

Maybe all he has is head rubbing, which means several things to him...including affection?

Only "marking his territory"? Is that anything like asking someone to marry you because you love them? LOL.

  • I know I'm not attributing human motivations to a cat because people don't mark their territory with pheromones. (Think about the argument before trying to redirect it.) Again, all cats display this behavior with people, animals, and inanimate objects. It's nothing like marriage, more like writing your name on a sandwich bag.

  • This video made me cry, just b/c my 19 yr old Aby just passed away on Nov 2 and he was just like this. His face was not as angular - he looked more like a miniature cougar. Someday I'll get another one - they are wonderful and amazing cats. Enjoy your Aby, and I see you are :)

  • great vid..not only are abys magnificent looking but they are the most beautiful natured cats..weve had our lex for 12 years and hes always happy to see us

  • I wish more people would see this side of cats instead of jumping the notion that they're unaffectionate or even hostile.

  • whoever says cats are not affectionate has never met a Burmese, Siamese or apparently Abassynian :)

they're "In your face" affectionate in the truest sense of the word. :)

  • I love Abys - have 2 blue- my ZsaZsa is the most loveable kitty kiddo I have ever had--

  • Aby's are the best at showing love. My girl used to put a paw on each side of my neck and hug me. Thank you for the smile =)

  • I've had Abys for the past 15 years - they are the best! And the commenter below is correct - the older they get, the more loving and affectionate they are (I think when they're young, they have all that incredible energy -- as they age, they mellow, but the youngsters are very loving, too, when they have the time!). My Abbey -- my first Aby girl -- used to climb up on the cat tree and do exactly this -- I think they just love being up on a level with your face, so they can kiss and head-bump!

  • My Leo is going to be 19 this coming March. As he gets older he is more and more affectionate. Now when I pick him up, he tries to wrap his left arm around my face and give me a hug!

  • so much love!!!

  • Horrible bump. I give it a 1/10.

  • stick to your ADD choices (faves)

  • How beautiful, our Abby Cat (Abysinnian) was the most lovable cat we every had. We saved her from living in a pet shop, she was unsellable-due to health problems. The pet shop burned down a week later. We loved her with all our hearts for 14 years.. They are beautiful cats. Your's is so sweet.

  • OH OOOOHHHH! This is love!!

I knew it! We have two!!!

    Thanks!

  • Keep the cat - lose that woman!

  • Abbys are simply magnificent cats they simply love affection unfortunately my Abby passed away last year and I am still heartbroken,But I am now looking at these Breed again for the first time and maybe I should consider owning(or being own by one)again .THANK YOU for the great video

  • just give him a fucking bump!!!!!......stupid cat

  • lol, I didn't see any bumps either

  • my cat looks just like that

  • Comment removed

  • my cat is just like that and he looks a lot like your cat as well i know he is art tabby but def. has something else and it looks similar to your cat but he is just as affectionate

  • what a sweet cute thing!

  • Such a sweet kitty! <3

  • What a great cat.

  • I bought my cat from jo-an

  • they say that when a cat put's their paw on your face and nuzzles you with their heads, it is their way of saying "I love you" :) your cats seems to love you very much, too sweet!

  • I love Abbys now! I have half an abby/tabby but we didn't even know abby was her other half!

I luv ur cat btw...so cute!

  • get a room

  • I miss my abby Leo, he was very similar to yours, very affectionate. He passed at far too young an age. We now have a ruddy abby, he is beginning to warm up finally, but he's not anywhere near as affectionate as Leo was (although it would be unfair to expect him to be). I use to cradle Leo in my arms like a baby and he would just close his eyes and purr. I still cry when I think about him.

  • I had a cat called Louis, a tonkinese, who used to love being cradled in my arms like a baby as well. He just loved to be patted, cuddled, held close, and he would purr and purr and purr. I lost him three years ago and I still miss him so badly. Clips like the above one however bring a smile to my face.

  • My cat´s also called Abby... and she's very loving!

  • So cute (=^・^=)

  • Very nice cat. I have a female aby just like him.
