  • actually because the sand is so soft people can still have bad form. it's better to practice barefoot on harder surfaces so that you can feel the impact and know if you're running right. barefoot running FTW!

  • @1ofmeful Depends on what you are training for. I've found sand to be great for practicing my pull, and not pushing off. Sand encourages pulling, as pushing makes it much harder to run. Also, there is a clear record of my footfall and pulls that I can turn around and look at. I try to aim for completely flat prints.
