I use almost every expression in this song on a daily basis, be they"British " or "American", and I was born in 1984...I see what they were saying but this seems like I definite product of the past. PS I think Chas & Dave are great.

@AndrewSFTSN They were talking about their generation of course, born in the '40s. I was born in the early 60s, so my vocabulary is somewhere in the middle. One modern expression that I hate is calling everyone "guys" - a guy is a bloke (a man)!
