  • is the material and stitching good quality and sturdy. Cause i have Oakley one now and its packed tightly but the stitching is coming undone. would it hold up?

  • @naube14

The pack it quite well built and I have had no issues with the quality. It is a good pack and I do recommend it.

  • could i use this for school?

  • @Dylandier

    I don't see why not.

  • What kind of protection gear are u using? I'm looking into purchasing some but don't no were to start.

  • @ccrazylegs

In the video I have Mace armour but now I use gear from RockGardn and I have been very happy with it.

  • how about dakine builder pack rewiew??

    i cant find any

  • @kerba661

If I had one I would do a review. If you google dakine builders pack some reviews do come up.

  • @NechakoRiver i will do that. im brainstorming between apex and builders pack. i do as much trail building as i do riding.

  • @kerba661

If you will be carrying a chainsaw the builders pack would be much better. I have never used one before, but a few of the other builders in the area have them and are very happy with how the pack works.

  • can you take off the whole tube? i am a student and im getting this backpack in the next week and i dont want to carry the backpack around with the tube on if im not going to use it

  • The tube is easy to remove. It comes out a slot in the top of the pack and through some mesh on the shoulder strap.

  • cool thanks!

  • this sucks:[ i have this same apex green i was riding home on my 929 in october and this bitch pulled out infront of me totaling my bike and me getting tons of road rsh and pain just another suck is my pack got tore to hell!!!!!!

  • Ouch, have you tried calling Dakine to see if they can do a crash replacement?

  • dude no way they do that????

  • Who knows, I have heard good things about Dakine doing warranty stuff before so it is worth a try.

  • My god that is what heaven must like!! I really need to upgrade my backpack!

  • 1. did the quick release leak? i've heard of other quick releases leaking. and is it velcro at the top of the bladder compartment or what--could i put my camelbak bladder in there if i wanted?

    2. how waterproof were the zippers after use?

    it's a nice looking pack

  • Mine has no leaks, the quick release is great. The pack has a small hook to hold the bladder in place so any brand should work just fine.

The zippers seem to work well. I have used it in light rain with no problems.

  • which size apex is this? great review by the way

  • I think it is the 08 model, I'm not sure what the capacity is though.

  • very similar to my dakine drafter, yours has the two side pockets though.

  • I do like the side pockets, they are great for carrying trail maps and snacks.

The Drafter looks nice, I wouldn't mind one for days when I don't want to carry a lot of extra stuff.

  • had them on chainlove today! got one for $50 around 5 pm

  • That was a great deal!

  • very good reveiw thank you:)

  • Thanks, I'm really happy with the pack.

    Dakine makes good stuff!

  • I just got a new Apex,...$75 USD! Great pack. You sure do carry a lot of stuff in your pack, must be heavy.

  • I don't always carry all that stuff but the pack feels really good even while loaded up.

I have been using it a lot and I think it is the most comfortable pack I have ever used.

I would recommend it to anybody.

  • nice pack i want 1 soon
