I was just saying it was very possible to achieve 4k dps on Akama because it is less than 60 seconds long. The fight rarely lasted longer than a heroism/bloodlust. In sunwell gear I saw many people close to 5k dps for the fight.

C'mon people, the true info is on WCM. It's 2200 DPS total fight but over 4000 on Akama Adds (P1). Speed-up the video don't change the dps...

I think it's even over 6k when he is cleaving 2 adds at the same time, with haste potion, bloodlust and cds.

yea by looking at the vid closely i found how he made the dps look so high...he speeds up the vid when he is attacking an enemy and puts it back to normal speed when he moves on to the next one. There is even proof of this at 1:35 for example look at the feared player in the background runing at a boosted speed across the view. thats just one example

Only blade flurry gives that feeling since u have to keep in mind that this is speeded up and most of the numbes are off hand attacks if u pay attention those are pretty weak

Given that he had bloodlust on, with standard rogue abilitiesand that haste pot he's probably at 1 second attack speed on mainhand, 2k crits on mainhand every 1 second on 2 targets since he has blade fury is a boatload...and that's not even putting the offhand into play

not really. It's actually not that hard to become a top arena team. You need only 4 things: Maxed gear. A strategy against every possible combo. A Team that can put the Strategy into Practice. Luck and much playtime.

And actually for the one who said he sucks for not doing 4k crits - that is stupid because the crits are all dependant on proccs: you need ALL AP buffs procced to break 4k. However those sinister crits were REALLY low for the MH warglaive. My SS crit record with the Talon is 3990, according to recount.

shade of akama has 1 million hp. each of the 6 adds has 100 k. the 2 spawning channelers who come in also have 100 k each. therefore the summed up 900 k damage done in the damage meter pic as "proov" for the 4 k dps cant be true. it may be the damage peak during the time he had bladeflurry up but definately not the whole fight. 4 k dps should be reachable for warlocks and mages as well...
