Dear fellow Youtube viewers, in less than 24 hours after the video was posted, I received a lot of verbal attacks from a few individuals who claimed to be Uyghur activitists. Therefore I have to make an announcement that this video has no intention to be a forum of political debates, such as if Uyghurs are Chinese, if they like Han people and if Uyghurstan should be an independent state. The dance was selected by a young girl who was born here in USA and apparently interested in Uyghur culture, specially performance art. She taught other girls the dance last July in a summer camp. Recently those girls performed the same dance 6 months later in the lunar new year party without much rehearsal opportunities for refreshment. The dance was for entertainment of their friends and parents. It did not, does not and will not intend to make any political statements. Lets all get along!
