  • is it easier to to that then just a standing still back flip?

  • his roundoff sucks big time

  • you land too close too the ground.. you should land standind up not really close to the ground.

  • but I watched it to learn ;;;

  • thumbs down if you like this vedio and if you dont, thumbs up....!!!isnt that ugly your going to thumbs down if you like this nah>>>>>>check out my channel and sub>)

  • check out my back flip variation =) that was sick btw!

  • I can do it on a crash mat but too scared for the actual floor! lol

  • this really helped

  • This is actually easier than the normal backflip but the only difficulty i have is doing the second part of the move.....the backflip :P Do i just jump up then tuck so i actually flip??

  • once you learn the tuck you never wanna do another backhand spring. this guys tuck is super smooth!

  • Imma never going to try, id bak every bone in my bod (:

  • i think you're making a big mistake with your head. You shouldn't put it all the way back in your neck. Keep it straight.

  • does it have anything to do with how high you jump or can anydone do it

  • this guy is not 100% correct, you actually want your feet behind you in a roundoff to put yur momentum UP... watch any level 8 9 or 10 gymnast... or any really advanced tumbler... they punch with there feet behind them and there bodies hollow....

  • I do this at gymnastics all the time and its easier than a regular back tuck.

  • is it scary the 1st time?

  • @mnj331 duh?!

  • Wow I Want To Be Like Him! :P

  • no air lol he should leave his hands up longer until hes at full flight n then quickly spin

  • ehm... you have to pull your arm upwards so u get higher this guy in the video is not high enough check my videos you can see it good

  • men that can be really easy.... but the hard part is that doing it with out fear... some people have fear that they may hit there heads on the floor

  • guys is the hard to do cause i never did one

  • @ExiledKiller209 nah it's not hard :P i think it's almost easier than normal backflip

  • that is a smalllllllllllllll gym

  • @edwarddurazo no one cares hes doing slow as a demo retard

  • well im a gymnast and im short and flat chested ,so tht makes sense.......

  • is it easier to do a roundoff backflip or roundoff backtuck?

  • what's the difference, I'm not from english-speaking country and i thought it was the same

  • whoops im totally sorry

i meant is it easieer to do a roundoff BACK HANDSPRING or a roundoff back tuck

  • they're the same thing...

  • I think it's different for everyone. If you tend to have weaker arms, round off tucks feel safer since you don't have to worry about keeping your arms locked. Personally, I found learning a round off tuck much easier. I learned it in about a week while a round off back handspring took about a month

  • okay thanks!

im going to try the tuck

  • thats the same thing, just different names, because roundoff backtuck is the nasme used in gymnastics

  • well actually ur supposed to land the roundoff at an agnle and not streight up

    this inables u to block

  • GYMNASTICS IS MY LIFE!!!

  • reelly? you shud of gone to tumbling. gymnastics wears out your ligaments and joints faster. it also has been proven in studies to make you shorter and almost completely flat chested. i feel bad for the road ur taking.

i do tumbling and cheer =)

they have the same flips but in gymnastics, it takes years and adds harder stuff.

  • back up your claim that it makes you flat chested. i believ that is nonsense

  • @sissylyra20 I'm 5'8 and did gymnastics from ages 7-18 and competed up to level 9. And my chest is just fine, thankyouverymuch. Take a statistics or research methodology class and you'll learn that studies don't mean shit

  • can u check my videos and tell me waht im doing wrong on my backflips

  • can u check my videos and tell me what im doing wrong on my backflip

  • wow dude when you flip backwards wouldnt that be a backflip?

  • it'll be a back tuck, layout or a ugly form of both together

  • he just showed us it. he didnt say HOW to do it.

  • Yeah, he pretty much did. Stand straight, set high, reach up for the sky, tuck. What else is there to know? That's what you do. There's no magic advice that makes you suddenly able to do a back tuck. ?? :s

  • super stuck the landing LAWL

  • you didnt set?

  • i can do it on a spring floor really well, should i just try to do i in the grass?

  • he is not a professional gymnast by any means necessary just look at where he is tumbling... in a karate do jo he has no form to be a gymnast

  • that doesn't mean any thing and its tae kwon do u retard

  • hell yea bruthuh

  • btw, keep your head to the front while in your backflip!!!

  • you know, if people are going to try this at home without surveillance, it's going to be painfull!

  • @TimWildert trust me dude. it does the first time

  • @TimWildert lol so dont recommend i try it?

  • basiclly, an easy way is doing a cartwheel and as soon as you land, you do a backflip

  • No. That would defeat the purpose of the round off..

    A cartwheel is completely different.

  • so easy for me

  • how r yhew menna do tht?

  • i can do a back tuck and i can do a round off but when i tried this on a wrestling mat i landed on my head..lol i have a strong neck so it didnt hurt but i really wanna land this!!

  • I wanna do this for my martial arts training!

  • nice connection and was very controlled and smoothe great job!

    =]

  • i would try that, but i'm afraid that i'm gonna die.........

  • I would say that they are egually easy, but they are both pretty hard to get good.

  • ok that just looked scary i wouold feel like i would fall down and break my neck but i can do a roundoff

  • I'm practis on Round Off backhand spring:P

  • I'm practis on Round Off

  • is ths easier or less scary thn a standing backtuck?

  • it's much easier and a little more scary/ I could do a roundoff backflip before a standing one

  • it is only scary because if you do it right you should be 5 to 10 feet in the air

  • I nmy case its harder to do a roundoff backtuck for some reason. I can do a standing back tuck just fine but for some reason it feels like its more difficult to use a roundoff even though I know it should make it easier.

  • i was first scared of doing round+tuck so i first went into the standing one. If you do the standing first, when you find the guts to do the combo it feels like SUCHHHHHHHHH AN EASYYYYYYY MOVE.

  • Ty So Much Now I Can Do Them Better......So You Run Then Do Your Round Off Then You Jump Up Really High Then You Tuck Then You Will Land It GOOD :D:D:D 5 Star

  • ima post a video of mine and i think mine look better...

  • This move is so easy. It's scarier than a standing at first, imo. But once you bust it out its so easy and you will probably land your first one. I did.

  • same here

  • If your round off is half decent and you can do a standing trampoline backflip then within an hour you can learn this move

  • thanks for posting this video whoever posted it. i needed this cause i kept trying and trying and in midair i always ended up twisting in midair and now thanks to this i know wat i was doing wrong

  • i an only do a standing backflip i cant do a round off properly

  • I always did a standing one to, and my round off SUCKED! but now if practised it for a couple of minuts a couple of days, and i suddenly did a right one, from that moment you can 100% land a roundoff backflip ;) just try, it seems hard.. but you go higher then a normal backflip so it makes the flip easier =)

  • You're more likely, in my opinion, to land a round off back flip easier. That move is mostly about momentum. The standing one is harder, but I think it's less scary. So I got the standing one, then a week later got the roundoff one.

  • Is this easier than a standing back flip because you have more momentum, or should I try a standing one first?

  • i learned the standing one first but this one is like 100 times easier!!

  • dude u dun even reach for the height in it. REACH for the sky, to get max height.

  • well the ceiling was pretty low in the room he was doing it in.

  • No, he just doesnt reach with his hands up. Im not gonna argue though, i still do it that way. I cant reach up eather. I practice for so long, but its stilol like that

  • yea, he did'nt go all that up.

  • that was awesome i dont think i could do that i might bust sometin.
