  • This is the most favorite song in theirs.

Thank you for uploading, so I can get back to early 90s, when my high-school days.

  • Can you believe that music was so versatile in the 80`s that there was something for everyone. FYC along with countless others in the 80`s weren`t afraid to be creative and pay homage to those that came before them. i just miss the boldness of the 80`s. Life seems so stagnant without the 80`s even with all this advanced technology, I`m still disgusted.

  • Great Band!! I miss talent...

  • FYC are UNDERRATED. Great band with a diverse and engaging sound.

  • What a voice Roland Gift had. Just a shame FYC didn't do more albums.

  • I remember we considered FYC, Bronsky Beat, Talk talk , Joe Jackson (Night and Day!) only good bands...we were wrong they were GREAT bands....those were the day and we did not know. The sax at 1:26 still makes me breathless!

  • @SuperProvvidenza How lovely that someone feels just like i do when i listen to this wonderful and melancholy song. Timeless and beautiful. Love and respect to to you. Glen.

  • Roland Gift has very unique voice and FYC is awesome.

  • like people say dont searh nothion if all you are is a damn hater

  • Great song!!!!

  • Dublin 1990

  • This remains one of my favorite songs ever, even after 23 years. They don't make em like this anymore.

  • FYC Rock .. I dont know what happened to music???

  • I have the 'The Raw And The Cooked' album on vinyl and I had forgotten how excellent this song is. Roland Gift really is quite a singer with this being a clear definition of this

  • this brings back memories of the worst time in my life, thankfully life turned round for me and this song is a reminder no matter how hard life is...................... u can be happy again

  • What a great song, this whole album reminds me of when i was very young and my mum would always play it in the car. Good times!!

  • @trajic07 funny. my mom had this on tape when i was about 8. i listened every time we drove anywhere. still love this album

  • great song great band should have done more together

  • I want to share a story about this song. It is one of the great slow dance tunes of our generation. My first wife never wanted to dance to it. When I danced with my second wife to this song it seemed as if that entire earlier part of my life had been redeemed.

  • Ever see the movie 'Tin Men' ? They performed this live in it. Sounded great!

  • @lebarosky I'm also a big fan GBY

  • @lebarosky Awesome! I Love it!!!

  • thanks again love it

  • did that for the stereo sound and it works!! wonderful job mate..too bad the video is missing though!!!!but nevertheless....

  • thanks again 2 months later

  • Thanks for posting this Andrew. Been looking for the title for years. I first heard it when watching the movie "Tin Men" starring Danny De Vito and Richard Dreyfus. Directed by Barry Levinson. Underrated movie. Even more underrated song!

    Again, thanks.

  • The same way i first heard it.

  • You too? Great slow dancing song. Do people slow dance anymore?

I liked the movie. Great 'slice of life' story. I saw some comments on other boards about using newer music for an older story. Don't get that. As a matter of fact I saw a trailer for a new movie and heard this music I recognized. I think it was for 'Revolutionary Road". Couldn't place the song but realized last night it was Nick Drake's "Know". I don't care how old the song is. It worked! Good music is good music.

  • Fuckin' A

  • This is one of the very best songs of my life.reminds me of my younger days, my mom sis and meself used to dance and sing to this! its so nostalgic, too bad the video is missing and i cant find it anywhere :-( thanks so much for uploading this, pls do pass on the video if someone has it...
