Pros wack and attack when painting to lay it all flat and be done. Looks pretty good! You might have even better results with automotive paints and little light primer first. Pro's use base color then hit it with clears to get deeper look than gloss.
Still have some to finish in the interior.. The camper is under wraps for the winter. I do have a blog that has followed the rebuild.. and even though it hasn't been updated since September there are some shots with the exterior done.

good job and great advice,i am restoring a small trailer,only problem is i cant get it in my garage.too high.so when it comes time to paint i guess rigging tarps somehow is the answer anyway thanks again

Looks pretty good, We are using the roller method with rustoelum and mineral spirits, and you may want to try that for heaviers coating areas.
