I have three heroes, two male, one female. I think fewer choose female because she is more limited if you care about looks. If you upgrade physique completely, your girl becomes huge and bulky, not very pretty at all. so a female hero will not be as strong as a male, if you want your female to be slender and pretty.

That's probably very shallow off me, i'm sorry, but that might be a reason few choose female.

about the info on the vid idc about any of that I just want to watch a playthrough of the game from start to finish...like I did with Silent Hill 2 by kurosaki it was damn good; since I might never actually get to own this game and the main reason i get RPGs in the first place is to enjoy the storyline and since i r in a dilemma on which to get: Fable 2 or Saint's Row 2 and i have the first game for both series i find it is easier to watch this over scattered vids for SR2. I'll never get used to the lack of control when playing games on those consoles, and I really am at my best when using a mouse and keyboard.
