KTM ROCKS,i'm hard on bikes and have had 2 BMW1100RGS,new clutch every year and gearbox!When i rode the HP2 noticed the same noises and actions in HP2 gearbox as old GS's.
i don't see turns,jumps,ruts or any difficult cross-test or enduro-test situation,they look like novice-level riders practicing for the driving license test

I would get the KTM just for the reliability. The LC8 is bulletproof! Last time I saw a HP2, it was leaking oil from the fancy swingarm thing.

Ridden the HP2 and have a ktm 950 sm.
HP2 more power but just too cumbersome.
