Thanks for posting this. It makes me so sentimental. I listened to this song over and over again when I was about 10 years old (I had a copy of "Von drinne noh druse..." on cassette tape) and I loved the music and the sound of the dialect but did not understand a word of what he sang. And 27 years later I still can't grasp it but no problem: I still like BAP a lot!
@dubbeldammertje Who speaks English, but listens to German rock music - let alone Cologne dialect (which is not easy to understand even for many German speakers)? Besides that, in my view there have been many ridiculous efforts of playing rock music in German, but BAP is a positive exception!

Try the 2'23 version of skoebiedoe (from 2008, with the band's actual line-up ).
There are subtitles in german "translation" for the kölsch lyrics.
