I read preacher coz it sounded like a fun kind of story but I don't think garth ennis handled it very well.There's allot of stuff he puts in there not because it enhances the story in any way other then to shock and appall ,garth ennis seems to recycle allot of his ideas too,the boys-john Constantine-the pro and it just gets kinda stale after a while.Iv read 100 bullets,walking dead,scalped and love them but garth ennis's writing I found it boring,pointless and offensive.

Preacher is excellent! Such a fun comic- book to read, it has action, humor, romance...really fantastic, Garth Ennis is a very good writer.

Y the last man in my opinion is the best graphic novel series i have ever read. its soo good and its the only comic book that i have had an emotional attachment too. i was literally a mess when this series ended.. truly one of the best stories ever told...

A graphic novel that always gets overlooked by comic book fans is the TRULY CLASSIC Heavy Liquid which is written & drawn by Paul Pope.I don't understand why it doesn't get mentioned in the same lists as Watchmen,sandman,the dark knight returns,maus,sin city,long halloween,hellboy 1&2,Batman year 1 & other GR8 graphic novels.Ive never read anything like it,its like the graphic novel equievalent of Blade runner,except if ANYBODY tried 2 do a blade runner adaptation it wouldn''t b as good as this!

i dont know if anyone mentioned this but u should check out "the walking dead". they are making it into an AMC show but i am sure the comic will still be better. if you like Y: The Last Man than you should like the walking dead series.

Great reviews man, reminds me to go buy the third book in the preacher series, cant get enough of it and Cassidy is fucking hilarious, Alan Moore's Future shocks is also a great compilation of mini stories set in the future.

Yeah, def get that one if you get a chance. Wizard magazine picked Maus as the #1 GN out of the best 100 Graphic Novels of all time. I really like it, even though the art is a little shotty, and black and white.

Yeah, I thought Hush was the shit! I bought all the issues and then got the trades too. I actually think Long Halloween and Dark Victory are better, but Hush is still really good.
