The reason I don't really like this game is just that the PvP is really weird, I know they focused more on PvE, but even the PvE still is a bit boring. The game isn't that epic. That's why I play WoW for a few years already, even without the expansions, WoW just has more 'epicness' (>.>) in it.

Tip: quest in areas where the quests and mobs are red/orange/yellow - that way you get xp thats meant for up to 5 lvls higher than you are

i think this game is more mature than wow ... i mean less cartoony... ive stopped wow cos of the addiction and the amount of time it took off my life.

I also stopped wow cos of the patches (e.g. you have to get to level 85 now)

Worgen for Allys and Goblins for Hordys and Azeroth is all lava cracked up and theres new character class combina...okay I think I went a bit overboard there zzz sry :P

I'm a long time wow veteran and enjoyed the game thoroughly til about 4 months ago where i got incredibly frustrated and generally found myself stressing over the game. Since i stopped playing i've been alot happier and have alot of free time though.

I've been looking on LOTRO forums and gameplay videos and the community seems great and the gameplay seems fantastic (me being a long time Tolkein Nerd) i'm just wondering, i notice you play both, what is your opinion of this compared to wow?

yeah the graphic is awsome, not that much pc req either.... but the aoc graph is ofc alot better :), this game is all about pve, there is almost none pvp. you can go to ONE battleground per server. don't know about the new expansion though

no a battleground were you can kill other players (pvp:player vs player) wich is big but they should make the diffrent friendly races such as dwarfs elfs and stuff able to fight in diffrent zones, theres only ''monsterplay'' wich is a minigame that you can transform into a orc and shit, though the whole pvm (player vs monster (or monsterplayer) )PVE is player vs Environment. don't buy this game if you don't want to run around killing npc's or mobs (none playable charater)this is why i quit/Adam
