  • but they make the choice to do what they do. it is not like the 70s where young men were forced into hellholes by their government. today`s soldiers willingly go to Afghanistan where they know their actions may result in the deaths of innocent people. therefore soldiers make a legitimate target of ridicule. they must take responsibility for their own actions.

  • What Canada does in Afghanistan is a disgrace, We have turned democratic ideals on their head by imposing a government on an unwilling population by force. Canadian and the rest of NATO troops are thugs and bullies in uniform, shooting people at checkpoints to save their own hides. Bring the troops home before we are kicked out of Afghanistan.

  • stop right there, look i dont mind if you put down this video, or w.e the stupid government does, but i draw the line here. these men and women put there lives on the line every fucking day buddy. they have guns with them so when these afghanies try to blow them up they can kill the fuckers... they want to go home to their familys. so they will kill anyone who threatens that. if you dont respect them, well fuck you! dont you dare bad mouth them.

  • 72 Canadians!?!?!?!?! That's fantastic!!!

Do you know how small that is? Great!

I bet they killed 20 freakin terrorists each before going!

  • yea i know, but still a human life is a lot to pay and actually most of them where just sitting in a HUM-V and just get blown to peices by a freaking roadside bomb... yes 72(now 83) deaths aren't that bad, but still....its the human price that makes it as a big impact.

  • Please bear in mind that Canada has a population of 32 million...a lot smaller than the US. And a contingent of(last I heard) 2500troops in Afghanistan. Just trying to give you perspective here that were right in line with US losses in Iraq. We lost a family friend MC.Anthony Klumpenhouwer in April 2007. It really is a hurtful thing watching his family go through that. I remember the absolute agony on his fathers face at the funeral during the service when he spoke. Most people have no idea....

  • hey retard... thats 72 families and we are now up 92. Canada is taking the third highest casualties in the entire war including Iraq. U.S., U.K. Canada. And we only deployed 2500 troops, so technically, we are dying at the same rate as the Americans. You fucking moron, do you know how stupid you sound?

  • i agree.. look if you'er married and you have kids and your shipped over seas and your shot and killed for this country. thats a massive blow to the family, that mans wife will never feel his warmth befide her again, his kids wont have a father anymore. to lose one canadian life, no matter who it is, what rank they are.. its horrable.. for that to happen to 92 familys is.. there is no word to describe that. so if you say thats not a lot of deaths, to you i say FUCK YOU!

  • And I just as easily to you. What about the terrorists!? If we don't go over there every once in a while to keep the darn Muslims under control then that same security of a family member that you're trying to be dramatic about is taken away from a SANE Iraqi/Afghan family (or JEWISH family, but that's a different story), and way more than 92 of them! (Remember the Kurdish?)

Besides, I though the Canadian Army was entirely volunteer. They knew the risks.

  • We actually have the highest per capita death rate out of all NATO countries.

  • damn right they did

  • you got this off of wiki. every note you wrote.

  • hi guys i ask some questions a bout this the canadian ppl help for afghnaistan or they re come for fight...?any one have time plz answer me

  • You forgott number 4) Get yankee dick deep into canadian as.

  • "At the going down of the sun and in the morning we will remember them."

I feel my strength and resolve growing with each loss, now up to 80+1. I feel the need to do something and so I'm signing up in April. I may not see Afghanistan till 2011, but I need to protect my brothers & Sisters at home and assist them abroad. I pray for their safe return and I ask you guys to wish me luck!

  • well i wish you luck. good luck sir

  • Canadians are credited to be the most disciplined foreign armed force in Afghanistan. Keep up the good work, neighbor, and God bless....

  • thanks you

  • The deaths of the Canadian soldiers are regrettable but if the Taliban is allowed to retake Afghanistan their deaths will have been in vane. The assignations that are occurring in Pakistan (watch Frontline/World "Pakistan: State of Emergency") are a direct result of the Taliban efforts. They are destabilizing the entire region and if the CF come home, as you state, Afghanistan and Pakistan may as well be given to them on a silver platter.

  • oh i realize that.. and i agree, you see this was a history project so to please my teacher i did that... but keeping troops there isn't what i think we should do. i think we should pull our troops out and bomb the fuck out of Afghanistan, but cause our country wont do that.. we should stay. thanks for the comment hope this cleared that up.

  • Kill some more talibans for us guys!
