The issue isn't that they're non-citizens. The issue is that they're non-citizens protesting a town because of an election that doesn't affect them in any way, and saying highly inflammatory things about the mayor and the town when they don't know squat about it.

Even the mayor said they're welcome to come, if they feel the need to.

If you think that's on the same level as saying, "Yeah, good for you," then you've got a screw loose.

I grew up in Silverton and remember Stu tearing the movie tickets when I went on my first "date" in 6th grade at the movie theatre. I think we saw RoboCop 3 (great first date movie huh?) I don't have a problem and never will with Stu running Silverton and keeping it the great little town that it is.

Thanks for this video. It is great that Silverton has elected Stu Rasmussen. Silverton looks to be a very open minded, socially progressive town. It also seems that by electing Stu Rasmussen, the town has one of the countries last honest,original, and creativelly thinking politicians.
