Hutch told me about another Australian band named the Hoodoo Gurus. This was part of the inspiration behind me writing the song "Hoodoo/Voodoo Medicine Man" for Aerosmith released on their '89 Pump album. "Read it in the papers, it ain't fair, You know who today don't seem to care, Livin' lovin' gettin' loose, Masturbatin' with a noose" - See how Michael Hutchence died.

Hutch brought Egyptian movie producer Dodi Fayed (Chariots of Fire & Allied Stars) to meet me as a teen and told me about the poet Hammad al-Harrani from Haran, Turkey which inspired the name Haarani Tiger Lily and Hutch gave me the nickname Tiger. Tom Cruise’s co-star in Cocktail, Australian Bryan Brown, made reference to me in the movie F/X2 by coming up with the mechanical clown called Bluey. Bluey in Aussie slang means redhead, like me. Dodi was the producer on the F/X movies.

Kurt Cobain made up the song Class of '86 (aka Buffy's Pregnant) because I was Class of '86 and we met and worked with INXS on songs. Buffy is Tim Farriss of INXS high school sweetheart Bethany Anne ( Buffy) Reefman. Kurt made many references to Def Leppard, not only in his journal. Class of '86 - "I got so wasted last Saturday night" ref. to Def Leppard songs "Wasted" & "High n Dry (Saturday Night). Inspired me to write Elegantly Wasted for INXS. Hutch called me Tiger.

@blubellyblu They were friends. Hutch brought Jason (her boyfriend) and Kylie to meet me while I was working on songs. This is when they decided Hutch would say he was dating Kylie to help with her career in the US. I was 15 when Hutch and I became involved and suffer from stage fright. I chose not to have the public life. The models & actresses were to cover our relationship. Geldof & Hutch were good friends and in '97 made it clear to me that she was still married to Bob.
