  • Some day when you grow up, you will understand that cursing does nothing to betray the memory of one of Ireland's greatest sons. If you can ever aspire to be remembered with one thoudsandth of the love for this great ballad singer you will be a man to be reckoned with.

  • Small is the fool who curses at the brilliance of Luke Kelly because of his own insecurities.

Kelly will still be remembered as one of the greatest singers of his time, long after you're rotting in your hole in the ground with maggots feasting on your soul for a thousand years.

  • norwegian shock jock. your doin well, trying to degrade the best country to ever stand up against oppression and inequality ever. it must have been hard being a provence of denmark and germany. surrender monkey

  • Absolutely Fantastic, Thanks for uploading!

  • Well done , I never saw that version before , [dardo]

  • thanks so much machree01 for putting up this song by Luke The Night Visiting Song it dosent matter how many different vids i see of the great man singing the same song because he nearly always sang somrthing different in them / just wonderful/ is it true the other Dubliners sand this at his grave side ?

  • John Sheahan organised the music for lukes funeral along with John Cullen who wrote a special arrangment for trombones and trumpets of the Old Triangle,The Prodigal son, Not 100% sure if it was at the grave side though.
