He does need to toughen up his mentality; i believe I already said that. The rest of what you just said is retarded. Every player could cut back on double faults and make less errors. His gameplans are fine, it's his confidence and his attacking game which need to be shored up. Btw, no one should play like Murray. That way sucks. I love Verdasco and Haas. I feel like Verdasco could benefit from taking a page from Haas' book. Ie. Fernando must improve his volleys and attack a lot more. Everything else is amazing but his net game is his weak link and must be shored up. Also, he must remember he can beat anybody.
