The only reason these crowds suck is because they're mostly huge Metallica fans that don't happen to like Slayer as much as they like Metallica. Every Big 4 show is sold a day or two in advanced to Metallica fan club members only then to the general public. Only reason I got my pit tickets for the NYC show is because my dad signed up a while ago.

@shadowracer55 if that's true then that's just sad... metallica is fucking overhyped, I'm sick of it. Even after Lulu, they can still pull out shit like this and sell the show over the other bands.. and their live perforrmance compared to Slayer is average/low at best, Lars doesn't even play double bass because he doesn't feel like it or can't, and Kirk hardly ever play the solos correct or similar at points, what a fucking joke.

@mettalx1 Actually metallica has the best performance if you include the crowd, but yes lars shredded his leg muscles on the black album tour. James fucked up his voice and kirk did too much cocaine back in the day which fucked him up. But when metallica was in their prime they were the best any metal band has ever been, that was when they built up their fan base. But they will never be as good as they once were, but they are just getting old, sad but true
