My hubby wants to go on an Alaska cruise. Andy told me it would be better if we drove and we could stop where ever we want. I can tell you enjoyed it.
@justwant2bhappy it was not busy in there cuz the drinks were so expensive so we just had one so as to make this video. I loved doing the cruise to experience Alaska, the food it self was reason enough to go on a cruise.
I'm guessing those were the people you were assigned to have meals with? Fish for dessert? Yuck! I wonder how they make the Ice sculpture. It must have been a lot of effort, but it's an interesting way to cool drinks. I loved hearing the classic songs, and the photos of performers in their more youthful times. @EdElisea Hi Ed no those where friends, there were 10 of us gals!. It was a hard bun not fish as she had gone to the bathroom without ordering dessert so we decorated a bun. The ice sculpture was an actual iceberg they chiseled out that way. Thanks Ed.
Can you guys send me the method/cruise/cost of going to Alaska? My parents have been to all 49 states except Alaska and they are thinking of going this summer but they don't know if they can afford it. Thanks.
I, personally, would not take a cruise to Alaska! The best trip I have ever been on was the road trip to Alaska with my dad back in '97... It cost me $2000 for a used and beat-up GMC Suburban, another $2000 in gas money, about $1000 for food and beer, and three weeks of free time. Of course we started in Vancouver. It would cost more from Florida.
That martini, would that be considered shaken, stirred, or poured? Love the song Moon River (Andy Williams). Let it Be, for sure. Sure looked like fun? Hope it was.
Bill and I have been on 2 Alaskan cruises and had so, so much fun! It was great seeing this clip of your cruise. We do Norwegian cruiseline cause Bill is kinda like Andy. He needs the freedom to do things his way!
