32 Capitol Corridor Trains, 8 San Joaquin Trains, and 2 Coast Starlight Trains operate through here every weekday. So that's 42 schduled passenger trains per day. That does not include non-revenue trains and frieght trains. So there can be up to 50 trains per day.

I don't know if this is true or not, but do you know if its true that you should never get too close to the wheels of a locomotive like that one because the wheels suck things in.

Whenever Im up there and I drive down that road and see a train like that I turn around and/or get out of the way. Embarcadero West is one of the busiest roads in the town. I almost caused a car accident.

This isn't the MAIN street of Oakland, however, it does have a lot of traffic. This street runs along the waterfront of the Oakland Estuary, and is only that wide for 3 blocks through Jack London Square, which is an urban shopping and social district.

@ibuy4unow Sure! They have them In Parts of LA as well. We even got trains going through downtown streets in fort collins Colorado. Used to be trolley tracks.

My guess is that she was either on alot of drugs or mentally handicapped. She was around for quite a while. While walking from one end of the square to the other, i would cross to the opposite side of the street from where she was, as she was yelling pretty loudly to somebody who wasnt there, and talking to people who walked by as if they had done something to her. Like i said...Crazy lady at Jack London.
