I really loved the sound effects (espescially for the laser cameras). Even though I said some nit-picky negative things, I really did like the episode. The dialouge was translated very well and it kept me happy that you guys at least had the decency to dub one more (and last) episode before you gave up on the project. Please don't hate me, I just wated to share with you my honest opinion on your dub of Sonic X. Congratulations and Happy Holidays (these posts were made in December of 2011)
@lknmjh I appreciate the honesty, no one can truly feel disappointed if theres a mix of good and bad. If there's more bad the bad should be comforting advice and if there's alot of good it just says I did well. Considering I had to abandon this series and lost the spirit, it's amazing it's on par with your standards. I really feel bad I don't visit this channel enough. We do have one more project in the works before we move on to original animations or...nothing at all. I recommend subbing me.
@lknmjh continued from last reply, only recommended because I like to keep in touch with my fanbase. The Kara No Kyoukai dub is sitting waiting to be finished and I will finish it. But as to what will happen next, this channel won't get treated like a company anymore due to gray areas that would make our dubbing illegal. I value and appreciate your feedback and once again apologize for my lack of checking for comments.
The editing was a little bit better for this episode, I liked the news report on TV (that was better than I expected). The music was used in appropriate manner(general to no BGM for the slow scenes and exciting for the fast paced scenes). The lip/flap syncing was (maybe) a little bit worse than the last episode, but again I know that you guys were all working hard on this episode and if you went on with this project the it would progressively get better. Continued in next post.
Overall though, the general voice acting throughout the episode was better; but at times it sounded bland and uninteresting (but again I atest that to you guys not having professional equipment and what not). Sonic was better, Cream was fantastic (some of the time), Dr. (Eggman) Robotnick was alright for his breif apperance, but Chris and Grandpa Chuck didn't put out emotion as much as I would like them to have put out. The backround characters' voices were excusible. Continued in next post.
