If your influenced by a certain type of music, of course you strive to achieve that kind of sound, but your also gonna put your own creativity into it and make it your own. Why does everything have to be a damn contest. Make music because you love too, not because you want your band/music to be "better" than another band.

Yeah, maybe this sounds a bit like the other Finnish melodeath bands, but even thou i've listened to bodom over 2,5 years (and a lots of others bands too), I can't say, this sounds like it. And I'm not saying either, that this or any else band is trying to imitate them. Because they can't. Just listen to the oldest COB songs, and you'll understand why.

B: Bodom made some inovations that alot of other bands use (such as heavy keyboard/synth influence as well as making metal way more melodic than it ever was while still being heavy and brutal.)  the breaddown at the end was totally COB influenced btw
