  • actually i still cant get what she is dreamin can anyone explain

  • what was the prob with Ashok? impotent?

  • "Do I shock you?" "Yes x.x" "Your lovely n.n" awwww so cute :3

  • jatin can't kiss 4 shit!!!!! he's slobin up her chin...

  • @MsGIGI2PM You right about that lol but most men don't know how to kiss. It's tha women who get it done :)

  • @sancharram1 LOL!

  • ENCORE!!! *nose bleed*

  • If you noticed the silence sometimes between these two women, then you will observe that they both knew what was going to happen. I can;t stress enough how well written and directed this film was.

  • Your right u can love someone without bn intimate and you can have intamacy without luv.Again like I stated b4, these two women were not shown any love by their spouses and were totally rejected. I like how Sita stood up for herself, my kind of girl. When u let folks walk all over u, it can become a learned behaviour and it will spill over into ur everyday life. I just guess every culture is use to their lifestyles and tend to cope or deal with it the best way they can.

  • Unfortunately sexual love is seen as the ultimate expression of intimacy in today's culture, not only in film/media but in general. This trend HAS to be broken. Movies can't seem to show soul mates without sexual contact. This is unnecessary and is degrades the beauty of a simple relationship, such as friendship.

  • @susmita666 I couldnt have expressed it better myself

  • You can love someone without having sexual feelings for them. you can nurture them and make them feel secure without all those things. anyways, i still think this movie did make a point, however films like Lajja (and even Water) were way more powerful in terms of representing the oppression of women.

  • In one of the post one person stated that it was extreme for Sita and Radha to become lesbos. That person just don't get it. It's not about them being lesbos. Both of these women tried to embrace their husbands and was yearning to just feel loved and wanted. It was practically enevitable for these women to become intimate. I can see how they ended up falling in love. It wasn't just about the physical act of it. Everyone needs to loved! Wow this was just a well written stript.

  • i love that its all in english totally awesome!

  • "Can you oil my hair" lol I think that's why I love lesbian cinema so much, the most simple things become so affectionate. She can oil my hair too.

  • Thank you so much for posting this movie!

  • Fire is indeed the most moving, passionate, and beautiful story about love that I've seen. The cinematography was great, excellent story line, and the culturally weave was masterful. Great job. I've watched it at least 20 times now and counting.

  • @JustOchi Deepa Mehta has a way with that, yeah?

  • Como q' les parece nuevo a ellas.

  • the song is hamma from bombay

  • it aint really th husband fault but the families

  • LOL... maybe the milkman ought to know how Mundu burns off the extra calories!!! LOL.

  • what is the oil for?

  • in india and bangladesh, women oil their hair so that it will be soft and smell good. also because the oil makes it shiny, appearing to be darker than it is, and in india hair is looked upon as more beautiful the blacker it is.

  • @musicflower2003 to moisturize their hair and make it shiny!!! That's what black women use to because our hair get dry if we don't moisturize it. It's the opposite for white women their hair get more oily over time that's why they have to wash it every single day. But our hair gets dried out and loses natural oils so we can't wash everyday or it will get ruined!!!

  • Radha's mother (in the flashbacks) is really pretty :)

  • He deserves whatever he gets for ignoring his wife that way.

  • does anyone know the name of the song starting at 7.39?

  • its humma humma from the film Bombay
