Minecraft "Mastermind" Jump/Redstone Puzzle

@Ir0nStein Nvm that, I searched whole youtube but I still don't get what a memoey cell, flip-flop, rs nor latch etc is D: (I'm bad in redstone). Still it would be nice to have this in my custom map ;P (I will give credit)

@HabboVidsable Basically it is a way for a button to have a permanent effect on the map. Instead of just using its pulse to move something or open something, it flips the RS-Nor latch and then a permanent current is created.

I created it myself but when I push the button, the piston goes and after a second again off. How do I let stay on?

@HabboVidsable Hrm...you want to use a special gate to keep the piston open, because the current from the button won't be enough

i really hate how big redstone is compared to other things. gmod (wiremod) is ALOT more space conservative but its much more complcated and its not as linear

what if you want to press the same letter twice in a row

@SaladRaider Well, I would use a piston counter (One of my own little contraptions) to make the current only operate the platform the first time, then act normally the second time. That way, the button would be correct twice in a row :)

Really good, but it mainly just appears to be a redstone lock with an order. Nothing super special but good I guess.

@EjvindDark Well, I thought it was pretty unique in that it is both failsafe, resetting and uses music blocks, but your opinion is just that: yours :)

@Ir0nStein Oh, it's quite good. I just play a PvP server, I'm used to large, 20 button vaults with order combos and 10 digit combinations plus resets and traps and failsafes, ahaha<3, but still, awesome idea for a puzzle map.

I've not actually done...anything with redstone before 4 or 5 days ago, but I'm an experienced programmer and redstone is basically just a physical form of programming, so most of my skills transferred over :)

Hopefully after a little while I can do some more impressive stuff with it, but for now I'm just dipping my toe in :P

Toomanyitems - For spawning items (GREAT mod, absolutely mandatory for redstone experiments :3

Zombie Fly Mod - For my super-speed, anti gravity action C:

And MCedit - For map editting (IE: The huge multi-story platform)
