Thanks for the memories. As in all great comedy the acting is what makes it so funny. Anyone can act, anyone can tell one line jokes but very, very few can do the kind of comedy in this show. All of the actors were so good, so believably over the top. So timeless....RIP Lenard and Richard

Thanks for posting this--I've always loved this show since discovering it in 1987. I had no idea Leonard Rossiter and Richard Beckensale had died so soon after the series had been recorded. Geez, I'm bummed. This show had such an uplifting impact on me during my own "rising damp" years as a college student; it really helped me keep my head on straight by enabling me to see inherent comedy in even the darkest real-life situations.
