  • And it only uses 8 tonnes of hot glue. :D

  • Im wondering if you could drip some glue inside the candle/onto the styrofoam piece if it would melt it. I also wonder if you put spray pam on the outside of ur tea light, if it would not stick to the glue & life out after you glued the inside of the candle for that 'pooled wax look'. I did this in black, it looks fantastic. Just want to make the inside of the candle look more realistic.

  • Where did you get the candle holders from??

  • Candlestick form is a cut piece of PVC. Home improvement stores sell pre-cut various size PVC tubes that could also be used.

  • where did u get the candlestick from?

  • I loved it the way it was before too. This is an AWSOME prop. Thumbs up. Deserves more hits too. Looks great. Mind if I subscribe? Happy Halloween.

  • Thanks for this tutorial. I made some similar candles last year for our MNT group. What type of plastic did you use for the translucent top pieces?

    Thanks Again!!!

  • Any type of clear plastic will work that has some thickness. Discarded plastic packaging from store bought items (toys, household goods, ect). The gluegun heat will melt it, so let it cool after each application.

  • Please don't take this negatively...

    The candle's great!

    The video's pretty good, but...

...I think you should speed it up more (I mean, it doesn't need an entire 1:30 of the vertical lines...

...Add music and a voice... makes it more interesting...

...you could probably have edited parts 1 and 2 together into one video...

But the video is good. =) Look forward to seeing the next one!
