Well, yes. However, if they are placed correctly, and used in the background, it usually can work out alright. The other thing you can do, is place some trees that are to scale right next to the puffs. have the canopy of the tree level to each other, and your eyes will assume that all the trees are to scale
its mostly foam boards built up to form a mountain, then newspaper balls on top to create a more contoured landscape shape. use plaster cloth to complete the terrain shell
@modeltrain9500 Awsome, but how the heck did you make that uhhhh ummmmm 50 Foot at the lets electric train scene and where well you know house friends house.
epic model its way better then most alot of people make model im making a
d-day model i still have no idea for what to use for the ocean can you give me a couple ideas? I really need some ideas from people for what i can use for my ocean part.
If I were you I would use woodland scenics realistic water, and then for the waves use water effects. As for the colour of the ocean, I would use a remote sensing/ GIS program (google earth) to figure out what colors match the best.
Nice video. You can use aqarium filters. They are cheap. It is white poly fiber. You only have to sray them with spray paint ten cover it with the green. I use collored saw dust. See my "N scale vlog videos".
I make my trees by using floral wire and woodland scenics foliage. They turned out pretty nice. I also make my own pine trees. I should make a video for youtube.
Rewatched the video again and really enjoyed it. One observation; What is the live ammo on your bench for ? Are you planning a model train robbery or do you intend to stop one !? Like your delivery style, please show us more.
Haha, your comment made my day :D I think there was going to be a train robbery, so the town council wanted to be prepared :) I will keep making videos as long as I can! Thanks again for the comment :D
Lovely inadvertant humour, I could just imagine you balancing the camera, trying to get the glue OFF your finger before picking up fluff ball to cover, all one-handed! Best tip I can give is - buy a tripod for the camera! Really enjoyed it and look forward to more. Very impressed with the size and scope of your workshop.
part two of comment after I put clear coat on the truck and lims I let it dry and then do any fine tunning of th ebranch and then I apply the polly fiber and add the folage and they look sick I need to put tha tone youtube one day.
I need to find some realy good cheep video editing software I need to get some of my trees on hear and show people how I make mine I use stranded 14 gauge copper wire and toarch and make my trees with solder and wire and then pant it a brown color or white or what ever tree I'm modeling, and while the paint is wet I have some fin choped of leaves from the fall and I take and dip the wet tree in and shake it a round to get the leaves on the tree and then spray it with clear coat they turn out
what you can do to make them look more like trees is to get little sticks and glue the trees you have to the sticks and then they look more like trees than bushes lamo.
que se podria usar para que queden duros? como se llama el spray que usas, que es ??

There really is no one good color. I usually use a mix of browns and grays, then highlights of white, and dark spots of black ish brown.

I have used the fiber from my dogs old stuffed toys that she chewed-up. Just spray paint the fiber green or black let dry and it is ready to use.
