I was in the Northern territory and Queensland back in 1996. Two guys rocked the jukebox: Johnie Horton and Slim Dusty. Slim Dusty: the Voice of Australia. BTW, somebody post his traveling song with the lyrics "...No one can slow me down, as long as I can smell the roses, I will run with them in my hand..." That was my favorite. I'm a US Marine with over 32 years of service and nearing the end of a great traveling career.
