D'Angelo has always been 1 of my favorite singers. Dude writes, produces, can play instruments and NO AUTO TUNE. He does all of his harmonies and backgroud vocals on his albums. When you think about it he's the Father of Neo Soul: Angie Stone, Anthony Hamilton, Bilal all have sang background for him. He's a mixture of Marvin Gaye, George Clinton, Sly Stone, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, Prince,& Donny Hathaway.
