Hey Casey, Loving this series so far, just wondering, what kind of stuff you guys do with the meat ye get, do ye cut it up and freeze it, eat as much as possible on the day, or sell it on. I don't hunt because I'm in Ireland but if I could I would prefer to.

Hey Casey, how many types of calls / bugles do you have? When we were kids we used the flex hose off the back of a gas stove, 'cause we couldn't afford the "fancy" bugles in the store. You just twirl it in either hand and if you're really good at it and hold it right, it sounds great but you have to develop a style, with tons of practice. Try it! Or maybe you already have tried it?

I don't know how I feel about hunting tbh, i can see both arguments...however this was really interesting! The scenery is a lot like where I live in Scotland which is really cool but possibly a bit dryer; luckily we don't have bears! Good job with the video :)

LOVED IT! That is one animal that my husband and I want to hunt sometime. I showed him this video (we also watch the whisper channels) and he said he thought it was pretty good, he likes how you go through the process of spotting/stalking/calling/missing hehehe Shay... sound quality seems really weird in some places, like your too far from the mic or sometimes even out of sync, audio levels also keep changing :( but other than that liked it
Missed my point completely. I don't judge anyone for hunting, I have no problem with it and would even hunt with buddies if they wanted me to. I do have a problem with society crucifying someone for something that really isn't that far off from hunting. I'm sure everyone would still have an issue with Vick if he efficiently killed his dogs and consumed their meat.
@kb492002 people crucified mike because women think all dogs are cute and cuddly, and they needed a good reason to hate on football. Don't forget that most breeds of dogs were actually bred that way for the purpose of assisting in hunting. I never really agreed with hunting but then I watched this and realized that hunting is so much more humane than killing animals that are born in a cage and die in a cage. This video changed my views on hunting.
Thing is people eat factory farmed meat, where animals are not able to roam freely and are shoved full of hormones & anitbiotics. Its better in a sense to kill the animal yourself if you're going to eat it but I still feel a bit iffy about hunting generally speaking and I don't think it's entirely right

LOVED IT! That is one animal that my husband and I want to hunt sometime. I showed him this video (we also watch the whisper channels) and he said he thought it was pretty good, he likes how you go through the process of spotting/stalking/calling/missing hehehe Shay... Missed my point completely. I don't judge anyone for hunting, I have no problem with it and would even hunt with buddies if they wanted me to. I do have a problem with society crucifying someone for something that really isn't that far off from hunting. I'm sure everyone would still have an issue with Vick if he efficiently killed his dogs and consumed their meat.

@kb492002 people crucified mike because women think all dogs are cute and cuddly, and they needed a good reason to hate on football. Don't forget that most breeds of dogs were actually bred that way for the purpose of assisting in hunting. I'm not defending him at all tho, i think they should have put him in a ring with lady gaga's meat suit and let a few dogs in. I'd like to see him scramble away from that.

I never really agreed with hunting but then I watched this and realized that hunting is so much more humane than killing animals that are born in a cage and die in a cage. This video changed my views on hunting.

Thing is people eat factory farmed meat, where animals are not able to roam freely and are shoved full of hormones & anitbiotics. Its better in a sense to kill the animal yourself if you're going to eat it but I still feel a bit iffy about hunting generally speaking and I don't think it's entirely right

hunting has been around since man could make pointy sticks and hunting was used to provide sustenance if we didn't hunt we would have died also the animal isn't left there to perish obviously you eat what you can also the difference between animal cruelty and hunting is well the cruelty part where the animal suffers while dying, well most ppl dont let them suffer.

Would someone like to explain to me the big difference between what you see in this video vs what michael Vick did to almost ruin his career and sit in jail for a few years. I have no interest in hunting or dog fighting, however it just astonishes me how dumb and hypocritical or society can be. This doesn't make me dislike shaycarl, it just reminds me how certain traditions are simply accepted overtime by our society. Swap the elk and dog, there isn't a big difference.

@kb492002 Are your kidding me?? How ignorant can you be?? Michael Vick was training dogs to fight other dogs. Hunting elk helps to keep the population of the elk down so they don't over run the area. People hunt to feed their family and have been doing for thousands of years. Dog fighting is brought on by stupid people treating dogs as toys for their enjoyment. Dog fighting is not accepted by society but hunting is a way of life for most people and society would not survive without it.

Vick forced dogs to fight eachother. tortured them with starvation to the point of desperation and they killed eachother. THis is just hunting, its not poaching, they eat what they kill. Hunting is one of the biggest characteristics of the human condition and it isnt going away. we hunt we kill we eat. its earth its nature. you might be a vegan? or eat meat and you can still think this is cruel.

Shaycarl is planning on eating the meat, and if it were me, I'd be tanning the hide and giving a few of the bones to a family member that makes spearheads and out of rocks, bones, etc. You sir, are an idiot.
