  • all the guys wer short lol

  • I remember watching this series when I was a little kid. Unforgettable theme song, and cool surfing shots in the intro. But that idol really freaked me out! Thanks, CoffeeSundayMorning.

  • They had some guy on the show with the last name Isely, why couldn't they have the Isely Brothers.

  • Starring Jim West and the Incredible Shrinking Man.

  • I used to brush my dentures while watching this.

  • @chuckbyf1 Dam what would that make you now about 150.

  • Why dont they run these on TV....such great shows!!

  • Hawaiian Pie!

  • Ah! The good old days! Watching great shows like "Hawaiian Eye" in glorious black & white, on the couch eating Wise potato chips and drinking Shaefer beer in the can.

  • appreciate! It was very popular also in Japan.

    どうもどうも!日本でもなかなか人気がありましたよ。

  • If you have a thing about Connie Stevens then do a YouTube search for her under "Sixteen Reasons," and watch the B&W video post by "lizardsy." Talk about a cuttie pie, wow.

  • Connie played "Cricket" while Conrad was "Tom Lopaca" Can't remember the older guy's character name but they always drove Fords and had 2-way radios which was pretty cool for 1959-63. And Cricket would always get to sing a song, each week, at their friendly Hawaiian type bar.

  • I used to erupt in shrieks whenever this show came on - that totem face scared me stupid!! LOL!!

  • i always fantasized about licking out hottt robert conrads nose/nostrils

  • That's quite an intro. Everyone is surfing and enjoying the beach. I heard about this show recently and now I've seen the intro. Thanks very much for posting.:-)

  • I have been looking for Hawaiian Eye videos for years !!! Why isn't it ever on TV ?

  • is'nt it horrible how far down tv has fallen from the days of worthwhile viewing like this show and 77 sunset strip? by the way why is warner brothers so slow releasing these shows on dvd? anybody know the reason?

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53 You are so, so right...TV has gone to the bottom of the barrel...this show, 77 Sunset, Route 66, Have Gun Will Travel, Bonanza, Surf Side Six, etc., ...those shows had some real meaning...and an uplifting message, if you really got into it...not at all like today's shows....some are funny but don't give us any real values...

  • @harkrum I cant figure warner brothers at all. all their shows hawaiian eye,77 sunset strip, maverick, chyenne, sugarfoot, bronco, naked city, surfside 6,adventures in paradise, were among the most popular in tv history yet they wont issue them on dvd or show reruns on tv land. they wont even answer questions about them at their website. it's like a "no talk" policy has been issued by the higher ups in the corperation. they are probablly run by people under 50 who think it's a waste of time.

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53 - good post. It is a shame TV has fallen so badly. As for those dvd's I understand there are some disputes re royalties with some people claiming a piece of each other's pie. Don't know for sure but wish they would settle whatever hassles there are and get those vids released soon.

  • @1400deadwood I heard that as well but you would think with the money they would make they would'nt "nickle and dime it" so much. warner has always been known as a greedy outfit. even back in those days they looked for anyway to void a contract they could with show stars, directors, writers, and creators. must all be republicans!...LOL

  • @TheBabyboomkidof53 Yeah, because they can cash-in on 98% of the television audience with re-runs of Everybody Loves Raymond. So why go through all this work?

  • @bellier20 to barrow a uphamism from the movie "field of dreams".....if they issue it they will come.

  • as a little kid (I'm 54 now) I was soo smitten by her. Just couldn't figure how to get her to wanna be with me!

  • Connie Stevens in her heyday! Help I'm in love!
