@elevatorgeek762 To get 105%, you have to enter a cheat code on a new file.

Just highlight a new, clean file, then press L,R,R,L,R,R,L,R,L,Rand then the words "ENTER CHEAT CODE" will appear. Enter the code "TUFST".

If you have entered the code correctly, you will hear Dixie cry. Start the file, enter your name, and then you'll notice that there are NO DK or Halfway Barrels at all. Just continue the game as normal and get everything and you'll get 105%.

Also, try entering "COLOR" as a cheat.

@elevatorgeek762 Oh yeah....I think you also have to enter a code called "HARDR". It says that gets rid of the DK barrels. Just try the "TUFST" code alone, if you still see DK barrels, then try it again WITH the "HARDR" code. But I think the "TUFST" code alone should do it.

I always thought passing it in hard mode wouldn't help get the extra 2%, because codes are secret in the game. When I watched the video, I assumed you had to complete everything in less time than Cranky. Getting the maximum by finding all the items in the game is fun. But a way that includes something that is far-fetched as entering a code that nowhere in the game tells you? How was an honest player who is trying not to use codes since most codes are for cheating supposed to figure out the way??

you can tell what u missed by the flags. the flags w/o the yellow flag means u missed the dk coin and if the pink/blue flag isnt waving in the wind you dont have all the bonus coins.

I liked the Donkey Kong Country it was an awesome game, I liked the second game too because it had a pirate theme and lots of secrets but this third one was like designed for kinder garden students. ANd still it was hard as hell!!

I mostly agree. DK 1 was an awesome game and groundbreaking as well because of the graphics. DK 2 was slightly better because the worlds were more creative, it had more things to collect and a lost world to find, Dixie was awesome and so was the pirate theme. It was groundbreaking because it was so much more complicated and dark compared to DK 1. DK 3 just didn't have anything that new about it. Even the story is a rehash of 2. And Kiddy does suck. DK should have replaced him in this game.
