1. it would be kind of weird if a disease would cause about 40 people to say things about God that fit each other independently
2. the bible also tells about most of these people performing miracles. And if that's true, they were probably also speaking Gods word, and if it's not true, the authors are liars. No need for any further discussiond then.

It's not a measurement of crime.if so, amt. of deaths would rank higher.it's based on motive.someone who is having delusions or hallucinations doesn't rank as high as someone who knew what they were doing."God told me to do this" vs."I want to kill this person because it makes me feel good.or because.I hate him"There is a difference.And no, there is NO justification for what these people have done but schizophrenia does play a part in some of these cases.

And the main reason David killed him was because that murder victim was threatening to kill their entire army and the guy in charge was shaking in his boots.
