Incredibly stunning scenery! How many years of gliding experience do you have? My recent interests in hang gliding lead me to your videos. Have you ever hang glided?
I both hate you and love you. Your videos are something to be admired and despised. Jealously is probably a common word in your reviews. Regardless, keep doing what you're doing and I will be there to add my thumbs up.
Already looking forward to the new vids you will be posting. That glider seems to be going quite fast at times. Any idea of the max speed you have been doing in it?
Happy 2012 and thanks for sharing your amazing flights with us!
Balleka, Your videos are bloody astounding. They never fail to impress. What cameras are you using?? Go pro? I am about to drop the hammer on my new RC glider. It has a 6 meter wingspan and self launched although I will be working on having it towed with a 50% scale Decathlon some times. Keep the videos up and good luck for 2012.
Yes Matt! you've done it again. Great compilation that shows just what makes our sport so special and a good advert to encourage newcomers to the best form of flying.
I really enjoy these videos and wish to have a go - perhaps if you get youself a two seater people like me can come along for the flight too - could be a good business venture ! - keep making them it really brightens up the dull evenings watching them !
Have been watching your awesome Gliding vids for months now and have always been wondering 'Who is this man' 'What does he do for a living'. Have you a link to your 'blog'
@handthrottle Hi TC, glad you like the videos. I'm just a dude who loves gliding and has a couple of cameras to try and capture the fun, I don't have a blog (yet?) and I fly freight when I have to go to work. Happy soaring. Matt
Envy pure :D unfortunately the vid is blocked due to content issues. But this is only a question of tools. Thanks a lot, Matt, for wonderfull footage all over the year.
Gliding is flying for fun, physics is art and the pale blue dot we fly around is gob smackingly beautiful if you have the eyes for it and the will to explore it.
You have captured all of this in your video's and sneaked in some minor mischief to boot!
There are many people out there on the same brilliant adventure with you I am sure.
I am hoping the escapades of M5 will continue unabated in 2012.
@YMBatal Thanks. La Motte du Caire is in the French Alps, the rest are in the UK. North Hill is the home of Devon and Somerset Gliding Club, Nympsfield is the Bristol and Gloucestershire Gliding Club, Portmoak is The Scottish Gliding Union and Talgarth is in Wales and home to the Black Mountains Gliding Club.
