  • my mum has one. its all black and it came from someone deeper in the family. it goes way back like 4 or 5 generations

  • The number 3 may have been their mark or their brand...

  • it was the 3rd one to sell .

  • I can and do make these chokers--you can buy these very same materials at Crazy Crow Trading Post--check for yourself.

Those beads are not tarnished--they come that way.

  • @Chakwaina I have two. one i bought from crazy crow and one was gifted when i attended a pow wow in (arizona?) :) trying to make one of those plains breastplates but they are HARD! (I'm poor, tried to make and cannot afford the beads) but they are good. at events i just paint my body so not essential. awesome though i do love the artwork of these. got some bear claws and talons which made a nice neck piece.

  • Sorry but I don't think that is a vintage choker. I am native American so I do know that it is not real. You can see that the bones are not real ,they are just long white beads. And that 3 is there because someone might just be selling it. Where did you get it from? That may also tell if it is vintage or not.

  • It could've been an artifact if it's vintage like you say it is.

And if its not authentic it could be a craft someone was trying to sell it and that was a number they put on it.

  • Looks good, and looks bad =P Its the 3 that ticks me off xD
