they're far from done, guys. This is a preliminary process (as far as I can tell) to take some of the load off the wellhead where it exits the BOP.... all to facilitate what amounts to a RC car mated with a bandsaw chopping it off cleanly.
Looks like they screwed that cut up. The pipe is half smashed. should have just smashed it all the way and stopped the leak instead of trying to cut it...

@MoeDuddly Agreed! Not only that... why didn't the cut it in the middle in case they "F" up and need to make another cut...
