  • The treble didn't have a stay in the first place, hence the ringer was being careful not to overpull at the outset.

  • Poor old bugger there on the very start nearly had a stay broken there!

  • They look hard work and remind of the days when I used to live in London and the band I used to ring with would sometimes ring at St Stephens, Hampstead. They were also a 10 and the church was already closed for services when I rang there in the 1970's. It was very close to a hospital I recall. Hampstead were heavier but were also a challenge and were not very forgiving. Nice to hear these again, they don't sound half bad!
