  • Nice video! It shows of my favorite places for a long walk...

  • I like the hottie in pink..

  • kooks go home

  • used to live in PB,( Grand and Fanuel ), one of the last coolest place in the States to hang out safe and fun !

-Not a Big Fan of KF-

  • The quality of life in the Pacific Beach / Mission Beach area of San Diego has gone down ever since that areas city councilman, Kevin Faulconer, put an end to the annual PB Block Party, a great event that used to draw thousands of people & would signal the start of summer. The PB Block Party lasted many years before KF killed it. KF also outlawed alcohol on city beaches. I don't drink but note that the 3 day weekends on the boardwalk that used to be great fun are now gone forever due to KF.

  • So Cool

  • I am from Canada you say but years ago I had an accident in Encinita and have never gone back but it is cold and damp here in the winter I am thinking of going back down there it is so warm and inviting and I wanna learn how to surf

  • Things SURE have changed, since the Seventies.

  • @chuckolove yeah because back then we weren't trying to capture a lost decade. We were too busy being part of the decade. I was there too.

  • OMG. WHY PPL HATING ON SAN DIEGO. . . IT IS THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE. I LIVED THERE FOR 25 YEARS AND IF I COULD ID MOVE BACK TODAY BUT THINGS BEING THE WAY THEY ARE MY JOB STABILITY IS IN MICHIGAN.

  • This wasn't taken in the summer lol. . Annually it's less to live there then what people think.

  • It's just too expensive. Wouldn't my dollars go further in Florida?

  • Eastlake very nice area to live in san diego

  • skip to 2:40 for the best part

  • @subjoy1 a patch of ice? wat the hell is this patch of ice you speak of? idk but its 625pm here n hot as hell im going to pb or maybe mission beach

  • wonderful San diego!!!!!!kiss from Italy!

  • why are people wearing pants?!!?

  • Moving to San Diego next April. Can't wait. My fiance is getting a job there. I need to find work too, I cannot and will not rely on her because I want to provide, but I can't wait. Finally, I will get to escape Cracktown USA, I mean Springfield Ohio. How is the job search there? Anyone know? I have a degree in wildlife management and environmental science. Any wildlife work available? Thanks. Nice video.

  • @misper34 Just be ready for her to wear the pants in your relationship or be prepared to not have many friends. If the two of you are just starting out or a little older be prepared for YOU to stroll the baby down the street while SHE tries to be the protector. San Diego is completly backwards from a normal functioning society. If the two of you are liberal, then I am sure you will fit in. We don't. We are moving to North East Texas. We are sick of San Diego. From North County all the way to PB

  • @misper34 Pacific Beach is the scummiest beach town besides Venice in Los Angeles. Trashy scumbags walk the street and share them with surfer and skater type drunks. The whole area is not worth living here. The beach is over rated and it's too crowded all the time. Grew up in L.A. County, inland, moved down here 8 years ago and it has gotten worse every year. Radical Leftest liberal homos everywhere. Fiesta Island is trash. Old town is discusting. La Jolla is more Pompous than Beverly Hills

  • @misper34 If you say you live in Crack town USA, then you will def. want to stay out of the Pacific Beach area. San Diego is too overpopulated. You can't enjoy it as a family because you have stupid idiots packed in to cars grinning stupidly at you for no reason when stuck in traffic. Everybody dresses like they are in highschool when they are in the 30's and 40's. Pathetic Culture. It's as if all of the rejects of a normal society has invested San Diego.

  • @misper34 La jolla is fake and pretentious. Beverly hills comes close to the mentality in La Jolla, but the women in La Jolla have their heads so far up their asses they can't fit their Bently up their if you tried. Every body is superficial and pompous. San Diego is no way to live or raise a family. If you even try to be conservative after you have heard their way of living, they don't want to hear it or they immedialtly assume you are a bigot. Hypocritical Liberals.

  • @misper34 Families here are run by the mom. The dads don't care. If they say anything in regards to their kids she will most likely leave him and take all he has. That's IF he works anyway. If she works he has no right. Heaven for bid if a conservative family were to try and raise their daughter's the way they are supposed to be raised, you have 10 other people telling you how to do it. Again, if you are open to being liberal and open minded, as they say, you will probably fit right in.

  • @misper34 Poway used to be conservative. Even that area is changing for the worse. Girls under 30 think they are in control of everything. I fight with them all the time. They start it. I finish it. We are moving to Texas because there is no way we can raise a traditional Conservative family with god in our lives, values, morals and proper discipline. Something the typical San Diegan lacks and lost a loooonnnngggg time ago.

  • @fingerp5 Man, sounds like you really hate it there. Well, our plans are changing anyway. Maybe that is a good thing judging by your comments. Thanks for the responses though, seriously. I am more conservative, so this info helps me think harder anyway. But we are now looking at me moving to Japan. Of course this may not happen for a while due to their current situation. If it doesn't work, then she is coming here. Either way, I am leaving Springfield and probably not going to San Diego. Thanks.

  • @misper34 May I suggest visiting? You may find it different from the description that has been given to you here. It's not "L.A., only smaller." Traditionally, San Diego is actually pretty resistant to being anything other than an all-American city.

  • @fingerp5 lol..idk who you met down here...

  • @andrademeza don't need to meet anybody who is in to that lifestyle. I know what they predominantly stand for. Which is pretty much nothing. Rejects of society sums it up nicely.

  • @fingerp5 lol rejects of society its a good thing your moving then...

  • @andrademeza exactly. Primarily to get away from them, YES!!. Secondly to be around normal functioning Conservatives in Texas. Thank god we moved when we did. Good riddance San Diego. I didn't know conservative families actually still existed until we visited Texas. Yes, I can gladly confirm San Diego is full of rejects who have no values or morals. Enjoy it losers!

  • @misper34 Yeah, no problem. Anything to help a conservative family from the risk of being divided. Again, these are very personal observations that my fiance and I have come to agree on about San Diego. Used to think I was the only one until I met her and spoke with some of her friends. The few of my friends who moved here blended right in. I didn't. If you and your family have traditional conservative beliefs that you wish to hold and don't want to be changed, don't waste your time. Good Luck

  • @fingerp5 Get a fucking life dude. There are people in EVERY city in EVERY state with your exact same complaints. Sorry, but an asshole is an asshole regardless of the city you live in. Maybe people are "fake" in San Diego, and maybe in New York they are "aggressive", and maybe in Tulsa they have a "phony southern charm" and are up in your business. I read the same complaints from morons posting on videos from every US city. California is an AWSOME place for anyone with a personality.

  • @investmjr Not sure why you thought you had the priviledge to respond after the conversation was between me and another conservative. But again, that is quite typical of libs, now isn't it? Why don't YOU get a life and stop reading so many damn comments that you don't agree with about every US city on line. That must be a vast amount of criticism on your part and a complete waste of time.

  • @fingerp5 LOL, who brought politics into this??? Not me. Anyway, hearing people talk about what is "normal" is always entertaining. As if you wrote the book on normal human behavior, and anyone who doesn't perscribe to your way of life is "wacky". You do need to relax man. And I am college educated, with a professional job, BTW.

  • @fingerp5 seriously what is the purpose of your posts? You do not like SD which is ok but you don't have to write 100 posts to prove that and then get crazy when somebody doesn' t agree. I am European so I am not biased but for me SD is a fantastic place. And there are good/bad people everywhere. I met so many nice people in CA but also some really bad people in Midwest for example. So please stop. U want to see terrible family values? visit Europe. You will start to like your country more then

  • @Maikkl11 San Diego has absolutly nothing to do with this Country. Texas does. The south does. The Mid west does. My reason for moving from liberal San Diego to Conservative North East Texas proves I love the REAL America. I realized what type of trash was actually moving into Southern California before it was too late. What country do you live in? France or Italy? Def. not Germany if you think your family values are terrible. They are staunchly conservative!

  • @Maikkl11 My purpose was to inform someone else thinking of moving there to save them from ruining their conservative family's values. But again, you obviously didn't read those posts either. You could have come up with the answer yourself if you had taken the time and not butted in.

  • @Maikkl11 If you say you didn't like people from the Mid west than that proves you are liberal. Since you don't hold family values the way conservatives do, then that means family values in Europe are actually ok, but in your mind you think they are terrible because they don't align with whatever progessiveness you have going on. I got it, thanks!!!!

  • @fingerp5 : In Europe we don't divide people into groups. So I don't care if a person is liberal or conservative. But btw Catholic priests are also conservative and there are so many scandals every year when they sexually abuse little kids...is it also what u call a conservative family value? As I said there are bad people everywhere no matter what their "faith" is. But what you did here is that you have put 1 300 000 San Diego's citizens into one ugly bag which is obviously very narrow-minded.

  • @investmjr Just because my lifestyle doesn't coincide with your meaningless, hung over beer binge of a weekend that everybody in San Diego aspires to, doesn't mean you can insult mine. San Diego is the most over rated city in the U.S. California USED to be great when I was born and raised there. 20 years ago it was fun because there wasn't nearly as many wanna be fake transplant Californian's that ruin it for natural born Californians. The traffic wasn't nearly as bad either, even 10 years ago.

  • @investmjr you meant to say California is AWSOME for anyone with a personality disorder. Anybody who comes off as normal in front of these newer idiotic rejects of society automatically get labeled as being upset or, they always have to use that stupid annoying beach lingo by saying, "Relax dude, we live at the beach." So, yes, if you are normal, in today's Californian society you appear as out of touch. So in reality, the majority of southern californian's have a personality disorder.

  • moving here in 2 months!!!!

  • San diego is where its at. i went there in 08 i had the time of my life beautiful women almostt everywhere.

  • I never drank alcohol on the beach or boardwalk. But I miss the spirit the boardwalk had back when it was legal to drink on the beach. I'm at the boardwalk a lot. And I never saw any fights back before the SD city council outlawed drinking. That's not to say there weren't any. I just never saw any. You can still get away with drinking on the beach. It's just nowhere near as fun as it used to be when it was legal.

  • @LacklusterUsername Spirit? Haha you gotta be fucking kidding me. San Diego and Pacific Beach is the scum bag city U.S.A. You just proved that only drunk scum bags who frequent Pacific Beach can't go a day without drinking, otherwise they have the tendency to be violent. It should be the other way around. Go Fuck yourself San Diego.

  • @LacklusterUsername O......OK........... Yes, it's just soooooo depressing that alcohol isn't allowed in public isn't it? Are you implying the typical san diegan who religiously frequents that trashy board walk area can't go out normally with out a beer? As if it's everybody elses fault who doesn't drink and obeys the laws for your addiction. Losers!

  • You sound like you didn't live there before the booze ban was implemented. Because now it's good but not great. Big 3 day weekends were utterly fantastic. With the booze ban theyre now boring. Now it's 'family friendly'. Small pockets of the boardwalk would rage. Women were a lil' wild, outgoing. People were much friendlier. Common sense: one can of beer makes many people less shy, less socially inhibited. I've lived in PB 9 years. The PB Block Party was fantastic now it too is gone darn it.

  • WATCH OUR SAN DIEGO EXPERIENCE

COLUMBUS WAY, THE COAST TO COAST

  • FUCK WANT TO MOVE OUT THERE

  • @NJsBiggestAssHole u should when you get a chance

  • I love San Diego! I'm a native born and raised! it's truely heaven on earth.

  • @youme150 Pacific Beach is the trashiest scumbag infested city in all of San Diego. Bunch of drunk losers and rejects from normal areas of society. San Diego is full of pompous fake people that THINK San Diego is the only place to be. I hate how every body thinks everything is a scene all of the time. Can never enjoy ourselves because it is overcrowded.

  • I'm MOVING HERE IN 8 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM AMAZINGLY EXCITED... from what I here San Diego is like heaven on earth. I'm in Kansas City, Missouri right now... It sucks ass... I here it's like ALWAYS 75-85 degree's out there!!!!!!!!! OMG I can't fucking wait! the lifestyle... the night life... The WOMEN!!!!!! I'm ready to start my new life!!!

  • @Brohankutanks

You're too late. About a year or two ago they outlawed the PB Block Party and alcohol on the beach. Things are waaaaaaaaaay tamer. You missed out. You have no idea what you missed. 3-day weekends used to be the bomb on the boardwalk. Not anymore. Now it sucks.

  • @d83kwk3kici3a9sk3d95 Daaamn i kno man PB is still chill every night tho. I go on bike rides and people r still partying

  • Comment removed

  • @Brohankutanks OMG It is amaziing just wait till u get here haha

  • I love this town!!Hard-bodied babes in bikinis!!Boating in Mission Bay! Watching the Hell's Angel's cruising Newport Ave. in Ocean Beach(good people)The La Jolla experience. It's a fine city and I'm fortunate to call it my home.

  • @7201952

There ain't no Hells Angels in O.B. They H.A. don't exist in San Diego anymore. If they did they'd have a website on the web like the L.A. / S.F./ Venura/ Orange County charters do. The H.A. used to have a clubhouse in El Cajon but L.E.shut the crew down 2 years ago. Most of the H.A. charters around the world have websites nowadays. But not San Diego. Because they don't exist in San Diego anymore. Yahoo it / Bing it and see for yourself.

    900 block of Felspar Street / P.B. / 92109

  • @7201952 Thank you man From a San Diegan I appreciate it

  • What irony: they outlawed alcohol on the beach but come election time in November 2010 you just might be able to smoke weed on the beach! The people of California will be voting on that issue in November 2010.

Though I tend to think District 2 / PB / MB councilman Kevin Faulconer will ban weed on the beach too, just like he banned alcohol & the great PB Block Party.

  • u can really see how everyone is laid back. suprised to see so much pedestrian traffic. Im from NYC and it's ppl everywhere!!! all the time!

  • alchohol ban turned this place into a joyless zombieland

  • BRAWL: 1. a noisy quarrel, squabble, or fight 2. a bubbling or roaring noise; a clamor 3. a large, noisy party RIOT: 1. public violence, tumult, or disorder 2. a violent public disorder I was on the boardwalk at the scene of 'the incident" on Labor Day 2007. I live 1 block away. There was no damage inflicted to personal property (ask any SDPD beach cop). No one was hurt. Again ask a local cop. It was not a riot. However it was a great event for the anti-alcohol people to exploit.
  • i miss this place

  • I don't (miss this place)

  • @LuckyGuu

"I don't miss this place" is what you said in a comment made months ago. I'm curious where do you live now?

  • @KillJulianAssange since you asked, I live in a place 1,000 times more boring than San Diego and SD is NOT exciting, but it can be interesting. I live near Wilmington, Delaware. I moved back here to help family, otherwise I'd be in FL. I hate winter, however i do NOT daydream of San Diego, but rather Guam or the Virgin Islands. I still think Sd is the #1 over rated city in the US, ......HOWEVER it's making great efforts in the area ofconstruction, downtown/east village!

  • 2:10 chip foose:)

  • San Diego is heaven on earth. Beautiful women everywhere, and everyone is laid back. Goddamn, I need to move out of Illinois again.

  • @crazypaul34 Yeah. Latino girls whistles for me at the beach. I like girls in San Diego. They are friendly and they approach me and that´s good cause I´m kind of shy. Btw I like that song. Paper planes.

  • @crazypaul34 san diego is trash and just another unliveable city. criminal developers have destroyed it and its beachfronts forever, just like they did to all of the Gulf Coast , the rest of California and most of the US. Its as ugly as all american cities and getting worse here's nothing natural about it not even the sand, just fat overpopulated selfish americans who will turn anything that isn't protected by national park status into an ugly wasteland.

  • @PanzerBlitz43 ..... Wow, thanks for all of the info that is common fucking knowledge. Rich greedy people make greedy and impulsive descisions that fuck up things for the rest of us. Selfish Americans are fat and lazy. Boo fucking hoo. This world isn't ever going to be perfect, so what's the point in trashing a city that you obviously hate to a person who really enjoyed living there ? Why look at all the negetive aspects in life.... life's too damn short for that shit bro.

  • @PanzerBlitz43 you know, as trashy as San Diego may be as you claim, it's really not that much different from other U.S. cities. I mean think about it. It has beautiful girls, great weather almost year round, history, many beaches, and tourist attractions. Those are the positives. Now lets compare that to cities like Pittsburgh or D.C. which happen to have all of San Diego's negatives but none of its positives. You see the glass half empty when the glass is actually half full. Be optimistic

  • @crazypaul34 I just moved from Illinois to Austin about three weeks ago. I lived in Illinois most of my life. I can't blame you for not wanting to stay in Illinois; it sucks. Especially southern Illinois!!!

  • @crazypaul34 everyone's laid back ????? it's obvious you're not from here !! lolllll

  • @plutoplatters ..... I did live there. As for your assumption that I meant EVERY SINGLE FUCKING HUMAN BEING THAT LIVES THERE is laid back is quite fucking retarded of you. Way to split hairs on something as pointless as my prior statement. As for there being some douchebags out there that would rather avoid going out in the beautiful weather and butcher apart youtube statements, well I guess there is.

  • @crazypaul34 wait till u see Jamaica

  • @crazypaul34 im going to the US for studies , but i dont know which city is best Miami or san diego. just need something which i can live student life to the max, better than this shit hole uk weather. which would u recommend :)

  • @abbreviateTome .... I've lived in California three times and Florida twice but I've never been to Miami. If you can't stand humidity you might want to avoid Miami because Florida is one huge ass swamp. LOL

  • @abbreviateTome i came from new caledonia to study in the US last january, i study in miami now, its sick brah, its a great wheather all year round, sure it gets reli hot from may but if u plan on goin home for summer after exams u shud b fine, miami's a beatiful city, u wont b desapointed

ive also been to san diego for spring break this year in march, i loved it there, everyones reli laid back n stuff, surf city,so much stuff to do as well, but the wheather isnt as warm as florida and less humid

  • @crazypaul34 yea i go out there tommrow chicago sukkz ass now

  • dayum that girl in pink fck all dem girls is fine i cant wait i move out to san diego in a year yes

  • haha at 2:18 was it Arnold Swartzneger bicycling??

  • no way, his arms are very small, plus you can't even spell the two time governor's name
