well, they tried remaking godzilla into the image the original directors wanted him to be, the design is unique, but the spirit and strength of the original was replaced with something cowardly and vulnerable. Lucky for them the TV series brought up what failed in the movie: the soul of the godzilla series (giant monsters, alien invasions, action-packed scenes)

I mean I can see they tried learning about Godzilla's origin so they did use the atomic bomb theory right but did something original indeed that made America encounter a newer version of Godzilla that everybody hates because he's a little smaller than Gojira and doesn't breath atomic fire but breathes atomic breath that blows on cars. I get it, okay? But I still like this movie. Suppose the Godzilla series deserves a sequel movie at least cuz' I like Zilla!

None of the people who made this film knew shit about Godzilla or how he originally started off as a serious film that symbolised the horrors of war and atomic weapons. Hopefully the guys working on the G2012 film get it right. And while a film like Godzilla: Final Wars sucked at least it can be called a bad Godzilla film instead of just a bad film unlike this piece of shit.
