@Wadsworth64 well, the movie 'It' wasn't that scary, it was actually pretty hillarious. The only thing creepy about it was Tim Curry's performance as Pennywise. He was so good at it that the other folks at the set avoided him because he creeped them out.
Same goes for Anthony Hopkins during the filming of 'The silence of the lambs' 'Hannibal' and 'Red Dragon' btw.
@4nonblondes123 would you reeeeallly want to see him in a corset, heels and fishnets at this point? haha but i agree!he looks nasty and scary! but thats what they wanted for this part.
ok so i know it wasn't as dramatic as all the over season final but come on its tim curry the man's a genius n I actually thought it was a good way to end the season why do they always need to end with a complete over the top dramatic ending? Just my oponion though cant wait for the 6th season how thomas gibson directs an episode cause I know he directed a couple of darma and greg
Is it just me or did anyone else think that kid is super lucky? I wish Tim Curry would take me away with him.
'Sup with the stupid makeup, though? Tim Curry doesn't need cheap tricks. He's creepier when he's au naturel. His voice is terror personified. When I hear his voice, I think of my childhood nightmares. And I LOVE him for that.
i LOVE tim curry!!!! i hate the makeup they put on him tho, they did something to his teeth that was just weird n gross, he can be creepy on his own! he's a legend ;P!
oh tim, you were always magnificent at playing family-friendly child-oriented roles! :D
I know I'm slow and as many times I have seen IT, I didn't realize that Tim Curry was the clown until this episode! He is a awesome actor! He has had me scared for years! lol
@MrsDomesticEngineer Tim Curry is so under-rated. He's amazing as Pennywise in IT but also as Darkness in Legend. He is so diverse. I love him in Muppet Treasure Island. I don't think he'll be short of work after this performance. I absolutely loved it.
Tim Curry should make the kid his protégé --taking her on his killing sprees and grooming/brainwashing her to be as morbid as him. Then when he's caught (and you know he will be) the audience will still be left wondering if she's destined to become a monster like him.
Another thing: When you have someone as naturally creepy as Tim Curry, milk it. He doesn't need rotting teeth and junkie makeup, he just needs to speak and I'm terrified! Making him into some caricature of a villain is distracting. I hope part 2 takes a completely different turn. Either make Curry a more sympathetic unsub (if that's even possible at this point) or have the experience get to Morgan to the point that his sanity comes into question.
@purplepeachfly I'm guessing that the unsub (whose name is Billy Flynn, according to promotional info) wil turn out to have kidnapped Spicer's daughter because she reminds him of a sister or relative he had and who was raped and killed in front of him when he was a kid. At the end, I'm guessing he will commit suicide by cop at the hands of either Derek or Spicer (if he survived)
CM is such a well-written show. I'm surprised they didn't make the finale more compelling. I wasn't as emotionally invested in it as I normally am. It was one tragedy on top of the other, and it started to seem gratuitous. By normal tv standards it was a good episode, but CM is usually a cut above.
i did not enjoy this episode it was very disopointing for me every other season had kick ass season finales i do not really care what happens to the girl they seem to be slacking the past season finales have always been so much better and the backstory for this one sucked they didnt give us a chance to care about the characters this was in my opinon poor
