That was one f***** up ending to a character - this most notorious criminals of all - mass murdering Garlan Greene - just cooly walks off, nicks a jacket and is calmly standing at a table still wearing prison issue clothing. Funny in a very twisted kind of way. Of course, no-one seems to think anything of Garlan just being allowed to roam free or anything
I love at 2:23 were Garland Greene starts speaking and Cameron Poe looks around were the hell that voice came from before noticing it came from garland...LOL
The last scene would be lot better if Greene was painted as a Heroic Sociopath: where he likes to screw with the heads of people who he "thinks" are evil (conversation with Cage), and his victims were not really innocent.
You could have some wife beater in the background shout at his wife, then have Greene slowly put his drink down and say "One minute"
Had they done that, I wouldn't feel too bad knowing that the shenanigans of Cameron let loose a deranged serial murderer who's feeling lucky.
